I know Bridgestone battlax tyres are known to many as one of the best tyres out there for 'bigger' bikes, was hoping to find a review of them on a pcx but seems they are a lot newer than I first thought!

Hmm - strange that on the bottom of that page (following the web link) for the Bridgestone Battlax SC Tyres, it mentions the Bridgestone followed by City Grips!

Bridgestone Battlax SC Tyres
1 X Pair of tyres to fit PCX125
Sizes: 100/90-14 90/90-14
Thanks to MICHELIN's Progressive Sipe Technology (PST), MICHELIN City Grip sets the standard when it comes to avoiding sliding on wet roads and manhole covers. At last, your Scooter won't be afraid of the rain!

I like the original equipment IRC but the Bridgestones should be worth a try. I'm a little disappointed with the wear I am getting on my Michelin rear.

Had one of these Battlax SC's fitted on the rear. The IRC original had done just under 7000 miles and had a bit of life left, but I took the opportunity while the wheel was out to stick some rim tape on, strip the brake and grease the pivots and de-glaze the braking surfaces.

Took the wheel into the local Honda dealer, £51.50 plus £10 fitting. Was cheaper than an IRC one.

I have these fitting and I love them. They feel great and really grip the road well in the wet and dry.
