Wheres all the PCX's?

Post by mad trapper »

Back in April local Northern Illinois dealer had approx 8 white and red PCX's. Instead I bought one of the dozen CBR250's they had.
Now I decide to buy a PCX and theyre all gone. They might have one last 125 come in before they get the 150's. Didnt realize they were so popular as Ive only seen one on the road since they came out.

Welcome!

Yeah, PCXes go fast. They can't keep them in the showroom near my house, they sell out so quickly. And yet, I've never seen another on the road other than when I have intentionally met up with other PCX riders.

You'll definitely enjoy the extra power of the 150 -- I'd wait for it and get that. It will be worth the wait.
Currently ride: 2011 Honda PCX 125 - Upgraded windshield and seat, keeping this one mostly stock
Previously rides: 2005 V-Strom DL650, 1974 Vespa Ciao, 2011 Honda PCX 170 (tons of mods - takegawa 170cc big bore kit, gears, etc), 1996 Honda Nighthawk 250, 1987 Honda Spree, 2000 KTM 125SX, 2003 Honda Silverwing, 2007 Genuine Buddy 125, 1998 Honda PC800, 2008 Buddy 125 (white), 2008 Buddy 125 (red), 2001 Honda Reflex, 1987 Honda Elite, 1988 Honda Spree, 2007 Yamaha Vino, 2007 Honda Metro, 2x 125cc pure-chinesium dirt bikes

Just quick trips around town, store, gym etc. Hate strapping my gym bag to the back seat. Miss my Zuma as I could throw a 12 pack under the seat.

You could ask your gym if they offer locker rentals. I had the same issue and our local YMCA allowed me to rent a locker for $10/month.

Lifetime Fitness doesnt allow that. We have lockers, just cant leave stuff in them over night, also have to use the ID card to get the key out. Besides doesnt help for runnin to the store or food take out, no room on the bike.
