Canadian Air Force & lack of care.

Rainy early morning ride.
Kind of nice to ride without all the layers from last winter.
Sorry for the folks who have to ride through London......even here in small town mid-west we've had 2 motorcycle deaths and 4 serious injuries in the past 3 weeks. Interestingly - autos were not involved. Side-by-side riding caused one; speed-corner-tree, one. I never double ride in a lane. See it all the time around here - mostly involving the massive bikes.

It's not funny to poke at our air force.
We have far more than that.

riding motor bikes should never be about keeping up with another rider

Since I have gotten back into bikes I am shocked at the number of renegade Harley owners out there now. I have several good friends with Harleys but there is a large % of owners who are morons IMO and are giving motorcycles a bad name. Those folks tend to stick to the urban areas and cities so I avoid both like the plague. Many appear to have club/gang memberships and don't wear any protective gear or hi-viz stuff. Just a minimum skull cap which is a joke. Their bikes are nearly always loud and they never wave. I see some that regularly leave the local establishments soused are ride like maniacs often. They also seem to make up a lot of the accident reports. Even the young guys on sport bikes don't compare to these guys. They are often older. I keep reading their numbers are flying up across the US. Anyway, I am happy to see our state slowly passing noise ordinances that pretty well knock out even stock Harleys w/o a muffler upgrade in any of the touring areas and small towns.

Or paragraphs?

Or a simple point to your post?

I guess they don't have Harley gangs in the Center of the Universe but they are the King of long chains of double riders. Is everyone this slow there?

That is a common thing among the Harley guys, all dark attire and half coconut shells for helmets. Or, no helmet. same thing I guess. Then I come along in my 'Stick out like a thumb' Hi-Viz riding gear. Sometimes they wave. Their bikes sound like farts in the distance. I wish them well.

@fish - nice photography as always.
