How to pull off fairings

I'm trying to replace my right front fairing. I believe I need to pull off all the plastic from the back to the front to get to it. I am having a lot of trouble here.

1. How do I take the plastic part off where the gas filler is? I can't get that to come off without feeling like I'm about to break something.

2. How do they pop out? Is there a trick? I just want the front right fairing replaced and it's a POS

3. How do I remove the seat? I unscrewed all three screws, and it still won't remove.

Thanks in advance

Time to fork $180 for the dealer to do it. Great

Well, I guess what you need is a 'How-to' for the 2015 version now. We already have one for the pre 2015s, and it has helped a lot of us figure out out to disassemble the bike without breaking tabs. Since Dave does not have a 2015 version, it is now up to someone else to carry the ball on this one.

According to the shop manual, taking apart the 2015 bodywork is identical to taking apart the 2014.

If someone has real-life pictures of the process, that would be best. If pix aren't available, I can shoot cell-phone snaps from the shop manual.

I thought Homie and others have posted vids to YT showing how to take many of the panels off - such as for valve clearance. There are step by step tutorials (with pics) here for the same process.

Forgive a newbie question...

Are there links to these tutorials anywhere? A search of YouTube is turning up lots of noise and little signal.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ierh8gBeuLg (2015 150 PCX valve adjustment) < found by searching for pcx valve adjustment - top link as it's a great how-to for the new model (125 should be very similar) :)
I was trying to find a walk-through for the new model (albeit US 2015 model) on here but cannot find it - I'm sure it was tucked away somewhere.

Afternoon folks! :D Gotta admit, I'm getting confused  Are ya'll discussing PCX or Forza tech stuff/info/video's?
We're sitting on the Forza tech forum at the moment. Discussing Forza panels, Pcx valve vids and the like. Call me dizzy, cause I am (no worries, most times I be in that state. Yikes!) Who wants what for what?!

I think Mel's got it right! Forza folks need an "in order" panel strip off video of the Forza like maddiedog did for the PCX (Early PCX model yrs.). Wondering....Does the (big) Forza shop manual show order of panel removal? Ah yeah.....Nothing Beats proper Video Help! It's the Best!! Need a Stripper!

Oh, the query was for a Forza 300 2015 not PCX - sorry, my link was for the PCX. I must remember to not assume we are talking PCX here :) (and check the post location).

Not a video (which I wish I could find), but here's a flowchart from the shop manual.

The seat on my PCX does not come off the same as a 2013 PCX in the videos on youtube. Its attached on there completely different. I can't even pull it off after unscrewing, not to mention I cannot remove the fairing piece where the gas filler is. It feels impossible without breaking something.

Ya know what? I think it would be a good idea for you to pm maddiedog and ask him if he can move your thread over to the PCX Tech sub-forum. You will get more exposure with your questions. In the meantime, I took a snapshot from my 2015 manual for you. I hope it helps you out :)
I know some bolts, screws and the like are held on tight from the get go. Be careful and have patience.

Thanks WhiteNoise. Hopefully if I get it sold before I fix it, I won't have to deal with this headache lol

Hi Everyone

I think a how to guide would be great. And sorry, if I am not getting it but....if I just want to replace the front right fairing panel, what do I do?? 2014 Forza 300.

What flow chart to follow...

How to approach lifting out the tabs?

Thanks!

John

Maddiedog - if you can move this into PCX tech help rather than Forza, that'd be great. My bad posting wrong.

Sorry for the delay response and delay moving this. Work's been CRAZY the last month. Luckily I get to go on vacation in a week. Beach time soon, woohoo! :D
