Tricks for Removing Front Wheel?

Anyone have any tricks to prop up the front end of the scooter to remove the front wheel? I dont have anything solid to put the forks on (i.e. cinder blocks). And my usual trick of strapping the handlebars to rafters or pipes is out of the question since my building manager saw me do it last and DIDN'T like it. I wont spend the money on a proper stand. Yes I know, I could just get 2 cinder blocks for under a dollar, but I hate driving my truck, and think it would be a little hard to pick those up on the PCX... Theres a dealer down the road who will change a tire for $20 off the bike, or $60 on it. No brainer to me that I should just take them the wheel. Has anyone had any success weighing down the rear end with the bike on its center stand to prop the front wheel up in the air? Is it stable like that? (enough to leave alone for 30 min?) I guess I could just put the forks back down on some cardboard on the floor... but getting the front end in the air is my issue.

Any tricks I may be overlooking? I have a jack for the truck.. but only one =]

Two planks of wood with V notches cut in the top placed under the handlebar ends?
Ratchet strap/rope etc around back wheel secured to something low down?
Get a friend to hold the front up while you pull the spindle, remove wheel then replace spindle, then place the jack under the spindle?

Ive used the V notched wood to support my Boxer Cup by its cylinders before

How about filling the back box with enough weight to shift the weight balance firmly to the rear, whip the wheel out, pop the spindle back and chock?

Have your girlfriend sit on the back?

You could tie down the back end, rather than hold up the front end.

hey thanks for the tips guys! I wound up getting my neighbor to sit on the back seat propping up the front wheel... Took it off, and then put a rubbermaid container with towels in it underneath the forks. Worked like a dream. The local homeless guy helped me by sitting on the rear seat while I put it back on.. and I gave him a hotdog and a beer for helping out =] New front is on the bike now. The dealer (not honda) down the street only had a static balancer, and their "axle" for it was too large to fit in the front wheel.. so its not actually balanced.. Rode it around and it feels fine. The guy felt bad and only charged me $15 because of the lack of balancing. I'm thinking I'll pull the caliper off and balance it mounted on the forks... or dyna beads. It feels fine for now though and only goes 58mph... So I might also just leave it.

Now I need new pads for the front. Honda dealer wants $28 for them. Anyone know of a speedy online parts store? (USA) I'll start searching through the threads
