I'm not near my manual right now and didn't find it online.

What is this clear tube with liquid in it near the rear wheel of my 2016 PCX150?

It's recirculated exhaust gas oil trap and drain. No need to do anything with it other then to dump out when it gets full.

Automatic chain oiler. When it's full it's time to Change your power band

It's a trap for oil and other liquids that get into the airbox. There is/are (a) breather tube(s) that come(s) off the engine and feed back to the airbox. At times trace amounts of oil come out into the airbox through these breather tubes. Additionally, water vapor can enter the airbox through the opening to the outside. This is unavoidable. This little trap collects these liquids so they don't sit in the airbox splashing around on the air filter, possibly going through the fuel injectors. As has been said, pop it off from time to time and empty it, otherwise, no big deal.

There's a similar one next to it on the airbox.

Just ignore it and ride. They're doing their job.

Paul, it was a Non-serious joke. Just 2yous offbeat humor/input.
But look what "we" did! Other's might be totally confused now. No worries folks, nothing missed. All's good in PCXland ;)

Back to the mix of "stuff" in the tube....how did we say was the easiest method of removing the tube off the plastic? Remove clamp,...of course. Heat tube and pull? We be told, they can be finicky ;)

Because of this thread, I looked at Natasha, lo and behold, there's one on her as well, and she's a 2013.

Nice to know what it is, and what to do with it.

I've not seen a scooter yet without some sort of drain plug on the airbox. On my Piaggio it's just a little nipple, but on my Kymco it was a long tube. The designs are all different depending on the manufacturer, but it's always there.

You don't need to pop it off. Just squeeze the end of the tube and it will drain out.

Did you not have your PCX neutered yet? I'm guessing he met a red Vespa last night - at least he's being safe about it :D
