Help with fitting cushion rack

Help.
So I finally got the rack I wanted from Bikerzbits but it appears it doesn't fit???
Mind is a late 2014 model which is the 2012-2014 not 2014 onwards led lights.
This I specified when buying.
The rack appears to line up with the holes ok but it is no where near sitting flush as it doesn't clear the walls of the frame leaving huge gaps.

And even if I did use spacers to bridge the massive gaps the bolts supplied are M6 where as the frame holes are M8. Also the bolts supplied have nuts and bolts which implies it goes all the way through but I just don't see how this is possible???

Does anyone have any instructions or knowledge?

I've emailed Bikerzbits and still waiting for a reply.

Hi superray, just letting you know that I can't view your photo's :( They're "private." Can you link us to the rack you purchased and installed from Bikerzbits?

Thanks for fixing that.
Whoa, that's a shame! According to their website, you ordered properly, the "before 2014" rack/backrest for your PCX (as seen here):
https://bikerzbits.com/honda-pcx-125-15 ... -rest.html

It appears they sent the wrong stock part # for your "non-led" scoot :x
If so, that was careless on their end and Bikerz-Bits should make it right....and then some!
Good you emailed them. Though the Waiting period is a p.i.t.a.!

No quick fixes offered from me, the gaps are too big. I would not settle for that if it were mine.
Perhaps others here feel differently. We'll see ;)

:? !Wait a minute! I just thought of this!
Is your scoot a 150cc or 125cc?
If it's a 125, the above rack/backrest I posted the link for above, might be wrong!? Does cc matter in this case?

BTW, Please add your location to your profile, it helps us All, it really does ;) Directions below my post. Thx.

Displacement has no effect on body style. Fundamentally there are two major releases (Non-LED and LED) with a minor change in between (e.g. fuel flap, air cleaner housing) when ESP was introduced.

No I'm sure it is the right one. B Bikerzbits said I need to drill the hole right through the tail and mount the rack under the tail frame which means the rack metal plates sits under the tail between the tail lamp. However the plates are like 4mm thick and there is barely 1mm gap between the rear light and tail.
They said there fitting one next week and will send me pics so let's see how it goes.

I was trying to find the thread where Maddiedog had installed one of those on his PCX 125. It was quite a while back and I think he ended up pulling it off, but I remember him having to do a lot of modifications to the rack to make it fit.

So Bikerzbits said it's supposed to go on the under side here between the lamp and tail but as you can see there is no gap for the plates to fit in between.Image

Its fitted now. I misunderstood how it was suppose to fit, I guess its down to the broken English.
The rack does not fit in between the light and the tail rather just under the tail and in front of the light.
After drilling through the holes with a 7mm HSS drill bit the holes are visibly in front of the light and not behind it.
The screws supplied where too long though so I installed a few spacers on the top and cut them down by about 15mm.
Here it is and I am happy with the result.
