Access the CBS master cyIinder: a work-around to the manual?

Sometimes people on here say there is a way of doing a certain job that is less complex than it is in the manual.

I have just checked my 2015/150 manual to find that access to the CBS master cylinder requires removal of the following for the 2015 PCX:

Remove the inner cover (page 2-13)
(In order to do that...)
Remove the rear meter panel (page 2-14)
Remove the luggage box (page 2-25)
(In order to do that...)
Remove the front meter panel (page (2-7)
Remove the inner cover (page 2-13)
Remove the handlebar front cover (page 2-13)

YES, there seems to be a circular reference there (removal of the inner cover in order to remove the inner cover)
I am probably being slow and stupid and this is likely my error.

Do you know a quicker safe route?

Thank you.

Hello PXC-in-japan San...

It is a bit confusing, but on the 2015PCX there are three inner covers.
The real COVER, INNER (81131-K35-V00) and an OUTER, R. INNER COVER (81138-K35-V00) and an OUTER, L. INNER COVER (81139-K35-V00). The later has to be removed first. They come out as reverse order, so left outer, right outer and inner.

On the 2015 model the CBS tank can be topped up without removing 81131-K35-V00. All the rest is per the manual as far as I can tell.
Hope this helps.

Can I ask why you need to access the CBS master cylinder? The fluid level can be very deceiving looking through the inspection window. You have a 2015 PCX, highly unlikely you need to do anything.

Is that the one where you need to have the bike on the centre stand, turn the handlebars all the way to the left and the CBS reservoir magically shows a high level? I believe that is the official way of checking as otherwise it always looks empty.

Of course you can ask.
The bike has been on the road since March 2015.
It is now October 2016.
I want to change the brake fluid.

In case you want to say: but that's early, it should be changed every two years... please don't.
I have 3 bikes, and when I open a new can of brake fluid, as I am sure you know, it starts to attract water and so has to be used up quickly. Hence the slightly early brake fluid change on my PCX, as I just did my Suzuki V-Strom's brake fluid and will soon do my Suzuki Address's fluid.

It seems a bit strange that you'd wonder why a person wants to access a certain component.
Surely servicing and or repair would be the answer 10 times out of 10.

Thank you again.
I am sure you wondered why you got a reply to this so much time after you posted it.
Never mind that for now, if I may.
Do you happen to know the location and type of fasteners to be removed in order to do this, please.
And how to manipulate the panel to remove it without damage?
I broke the other two out of three panels you kindly told me about when accessing the reservoir for a brake bleed.
(No problem, it is now a hundred-thousand-kilometer scooter.)
Now I want to access the CBS master cylinder assembly, and, as I left the "left inner" and "right inner" panels off the scooter because I broke them, I need only remove the 81131-K35-V00 piece.
Many thanks.
