As far as the OEM IRC tyres go, 5000 miles from a rear is achievable and a front should last 15000 miles.

I've got over 8k on my rear tire, although, it is more than due for a change. Lol

My rear hit the wear mark sometime between 6500 and 7000 miles, and needs replaced. The front's still got a whole lot of life left.

My second rear lasted 7000 miles and I'm glad Mr. Plod never had a close look at it... Image

My rear is due for a replacement after about 5k miles. The front is not looking to good and close to the markers at 6k. It would appear I'm quite hard on my front :p

My rear is well and truly finished at 4.5k. :( Front is not looking that good either. I must also be hard on the front.

Mine is ok on the front but the rear was changed at the last 5k service.Funnily enough my honda dealer put a michelin city grip on as thats what they reckon is best.Nice to see this particular dealer sees what the market likes as opposed to putting another honda one on.
