I plan to keep my scooter in the garage in the winter. What do you all do for winter storage? Thanks!

I don't do winter storage, it lives outside uncovered and gets ridden as much as possible.

I try to ride at least once a week to keep the battery charged and to keep the gas fairly fresh. You don't want to let the gas/ethanol mix sit too long.

dont start it and let it run without riding it to nornmal temp, optimet 4 is a must just connect her up switch on and forget it if is going be laid up a while, maybe a cupboard heater underneath to keep the damp away.......other than that good coat of polish and spray her up with f365 or similar

You can ride it regularly all winter (that's what me, GN2, and I'm sure others do), or you can winterize it.

Here's the winterization guide: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=14

We need lots of stuff to be store in winters. This time I want to store my new scooter. I also don't know how to ride it. So need to keep it somewhere till I learn. Already searched for self storage in Paddington.

There will be periods I can ride it. For example we had lows of 25 about a week or two ago and this weekend we have a high of 70 and low of 60. Gotta love louisiana weather

That's a nice guide if you're storing your bike over winter but like Maddiedog and gn2 I'll be braving the Northern England winter and using it for my commute every day.. Even my journey 2 days ago at 0400 in the driving wind and rain was enjoyable as it was on 2 wheels.. Two years in and the novelty hasn't worn off yet!

I put my battery back in to ride today. The screw fell into the hole in front of the battery. What's the best way to get to it? I stuck my hand around where it fell but couldn't find anything

I think the term for that is "Oh Crap!". Try one of those magnetic 'sticks' or shake the bike to see if it will fall through. I think it would fall onto that flat panel on the bottom of the bike if you shake it some.
