Givi D322ST windshield

Post by Indyglow »

New windshield finally arrived and I installed it today following Maddiedog's EXCELLENT instructions. The hardest part was getting the bike into the house so I could work on it where it was warm. After it was installed I went for a ride but it was so windy I couldn't really tell how much of a difference having the windshield made.

If the ST is the short version Im not sure it will protect you much, you need a tall windscreen for that.

The windshield keeps the wind off me (I'm 5'3") but it creates a lot of wind noise at my helmet (Arai Profile). I'll keep it on until the spring because I want to see if it keeps bugs from splattering all over my helmet. I don't want to go with a taller windshield because I did that with my Honda Elite and mostly all I could see in the windshield was my own reflection.

I can't remember how to add pictures. Is there a simple step by step that I could follow to add a picture?

Not really, but here goes:

1. Press the Post Reply button.
2. Below where you enter your post, you should see a button that says "Browse..." Press it, and select the file from your computer.
3. Press the "Add the File" button below the Browse button. The file will upload (you'll see green yen and yang spinning)
4. Underneath where you enter the post, a dropdown box will appear and a button that says "Place Inline". Click the Place Inline button, and the image will be embedded whereever that BBCode is placed in the post. Make sure to hit Submit to show the post.

Love my tall Givi windsheild. Cut it down about 2", it's perfect. Now I'm working on the seat... maybe try Pirate Upholstery in NY.
(this photo shows orig windshield, obviously...no new photo yet)
