I just installed the Dr Pulley sliders, 14.5 grams, as recommended by the workshop.
However, I noticed there is this sound. Is it normal? Or is something wrong?
What's the cause of it?

Im sure its fine. If it runs fine and shifts properly, it will be ok. They are sliders so the odd shape can cause some to rattle around at idle. If you are worried, take it apart and make sure you installed the sliders correctly. BTW I would recommend going lighter. 12-13g sliders is much better.

Dr pulley sliders last very long time without any wear so performance will not detoriate due to wear unless its belt that is worn. So, that alone is worth upgrading to sliders. Ive had mine for a long time and when I step down to rollers, I feel I've also stepped down in performance (weight for weight between the two), so that makes it two reasons why everyone should just use sliders.

Just replaced these Dr Pulley sliders. They were used for only 15,000 km (9320 miles).
Do they look worn out to you?

because i exactly knew my rollers were worn out
and that's why it conflicted with what many of you thought about D.P sliders, that they were long-lasting. I asked to seek further clarification, if any one else on this forum had experienced anything similar to mine.

You should be changing your weights maybe every 5k miles. Them and maybe a belt. Cheap insurance to optimize performance.

Probably your belt was worn out, got skinnier hence your increased revs and would have less top speed. 15000 on a belt is great but performance suffers. Sliders would have been fine.

For the '21 PCX/157cc engine, the stock rollers are 20mm x 15mm 19 gram rollers. Recently I installed the 20mm x 15mm 13gram Dr. Pulley sliders into the stock variator and I saw a 65mph indicated top speed. Has anyone installed the 21 x 15mm 13gram Dr. Pulley sliders?

Did you hit the rev limiter? Seems a bit slow. I was hitting that with a stock Click 125i and 13gr Dr. Pulleys.
With a bore up to 164cc (plus other upgrades) easily hit 70+ with 15gr Dr. Pulleys.
