Anyone had a chance to ride (or own) the Honda CBR500R?
I sat aboard one at the showroom, but ... no demo ride available.
Most reviews online seem to be favorable.
If the reach to the bars is comfy/moderate once in motion AND if the passenger perch is truly usable ... I could be attracted!

Re: seeking buying advice
After 45 years of motorcycle riding, when my wife suggested a pair of scooters, I did some research. Here are the things the PCX has over the other scooters that were on our short list: Fuel injection Water cooled 14" wheels Honda reliability Styling wasn't trying to be a Vespa-wannabee What I...

Re: Breaking In !
I only have 300 miles on mine at present.
I've been using the "Ride it like you don't want to get squished by traffic" method.
It is GREAT fun ... congratulations on your purchase!

Congratulations, Switta, it looks great!
That shade of red looks like the red offered on the Honda CBR500R. Very Italian!

Re: Riding double...
We just added the Honda top case to our PCX -- both for carrying capacity and to add a more secure feeling for the passenger. I remember having a Corbin seat on a previous motorcycle where I could locate the backrest either for the driver or the passenger ... or remove it all together. Cool. Very co...

Re: Forza has arrived.
The first Forza showed up in my dealer's shop yesterday.
They took it off the pallet and it sold before they had time to remove the packing tape.
Go, Honda Thailand!

Thanks, all!
Skuuter, I follow your reasoning. A cafe bar doesn't sound like it would be wise, then.
Taz, I appreciate the advice on the hex bolts.

Re: Shorter handlebars or ??
What were you riding before? A little bit of everything in motorcycles through the years -- Honda Interceptor was the most forward-leaning, whereas a BMW R100RT was the most upright. It's still possible I'd fit better sans-HUMP, but wondered if anyone has tried lowering the bar for comfort ... so t...

Shorter handlebars or ??
Hi, all: I'm new in these parts. We brought home a red PCX 150 two weekends ago and it's great fun. Contrary to numerous posts I've found here, I'm wondering if I'd benefit from lower handlebars ... in order to get some weight off my seat and more forward tilt onto the handlebars. I'm not used to ri...
