Re: Recall letter number five...?
I have had a few Forza's over the years and only ever had 2 recalls as far as I can remember - one was a seal and one was something to do with the fuel line I think. I stupidly sold my Forza last year and bought a Burgervan 650 which is fab but boy is it a heavy and thirsty beast! I'm very tempted t...

Re: What colour ....
White is scientifically proven to be faster. You cannot argue with science! :) .......but it doesn't have any 'go faster' stripes! Perhaps white weighs less than any other colour then  I still think the red is lush and I wish they'd offer more colours here in the UK - I mean, come on, white, b...

UK colours are black, white and grey.
Black is statistically the most dangerous, grey the most boring and white is the correct colour.
Have to say I don't particularly like the white one, the grey is prettier! Do you have a Forza 300 GN2?

Yup, Forza 300. As ever gn2, you are right about getting one in White although the grey 1 does look rather nice.

White, black or silver? What is best for visual presence, I'm guessing white but I think the silver looks nicer! Such a quandary, why can't we have red in the UK, that looks lush!

Re: How great is the PCX for commuting!
Its what its made for after all.Avoid the forza300. Slight smell of moss and old persons wee Oh dear, i've not noticed any smells of moss or old persons wee I have to say!!! I'm not particularly old but no spring chicken either! I have the Forza 300 and it's a great bike, its baby brother was too t...

Just realised that this has been posted in the wrong section - should be in the Forza 300 section NOT the PCX section, sorry chaps but thanks for all your replies and help!!

Re: Salt corrosion on suspension
I've just looked at mine. The bottoms are painted black. It's a 2014 Forza 300. Why is yours different? I know the bottoms are painted black - being a dizzy ignorant female (enough said!), I was convinced the shocks were polished metal when I made the original posting but as you rightly say, they'r...

Re: Salt corrosion on suspension
Thanks for your replies guys. The point is, I'm trying to sell it and one local dealer was 'put off' by the 'corrosion' and said he'd find it hard to sell and was concerned that it was like that on a bike so young (19 months old)!! I think in reality he didn't want it so why he couldn't just say th...

It's actually, I think at least, black painted metal - if it were unpainted metal, I suspect it wouldn't look so horrible! I'm so anal, sorry!!

Just paint it on with a brush.
Sorted.
Thanks GN2 but as other posters have said, it will be a bugger to get to without also painting the shocks!! Thanks anyway, appreciated x

Re: Salt corrosion on suspension
Cleaning the oxidation off the white metal (or aluminum or whatever they are) parts will be tedious. Flitz is a great product. Since it is German, I expect you can get it in England. I am quite sure that there are other polishing creams (cremes?) available to you. The hassle is that it is hard to g...

Salt corrosion on suspension
Forza showing corrosion.jpg[/attachment] Forza showing corrosion.jpg Can one of you lovely folk out there tell me how to get rid of what I assume is salt corrosion on the rear suspension of my Forza 300? It should be nice and 'shiny' metal shouldn't it? I keep the bike covered in winter/when it's we...
