Re: New Scoot on order
Yeah I know what you mean, very limited choice. Were obviously not allowed to have bright colours unless it's a Vespa!

Re: New Scoot on order
It's dark grey. It was that or black, so after having black PCX thought I would try a different colour
Will post pics when I get it.

Re: Thinking of selling the PCX..
That's a shame that you want to sell, but as you said if your not using it, no point in keeping it. I did the same last year, had a Triumph Bonneville for a year and a half and only covered 3500 miles. So got rid and replaced with the PCX which is 13 months old and covered 4400 miles! Go every where...

I ended up renewing insurance with Swinton for £100 as they through in extras!! Free life and legal in...

That is not an experience I would want to try. Had enough with the black ice. Good to hear you and the PCX are both well and unmarked.

Re: Not such a good start to the New Year!
@ woozy-uk. So what happened? Hope your all right. I got prices for the panels from Bournemouth Honda's website. They have a great parts list. Been looking in to repairing mine. Found some one that can supply the correct paint. So will see how I get on cleaning up the panels.

Re: Not such a good start to the New Year!
Well going to have a look at it at the weekend. Will see if the worst will polish out. Good thing is plastic is black under the paint so doesn't show to bad. Got some really fine emery cloth so will try polishing it with that. Also got micro-mesh, used by military for polishing aircraft canopys, so ...

Re: Not such a good start to the New Year!
Had a look online last night and the 2 panels that need replacing would cost about £130 in total, that's from Bournemouth Honda. I assume that is standard Honda prices, if so will order from my local garage. But as Esdain said I'll wait till spring to replace them. Might replace mirror to as it's sc...

Re: Android or iOS ?
Well I have an HTC Sensation and a Motorola Xoom, and love them both. They are due an upgrade to Android 4.0 as they are duel core. So we'll see how that goes. Use the Xoom all the time, hardly ever have the PC on these days.

Not such a good start to the New Year!
Well been using the PCX most of the time through the winter as we have had really mild weather. So after the holidays it was back to work on Wednesday, 6 am!! (Scoland we get an extra day!!) I checked the weather before heading off and it was 3 to 4 deg C above freezing, no obvious frost. Car window...
Re: mac's PCX
Well Woolley it was a white one that I wanted, but at the time the dealer only had two black ones and told be there was a delay in getting the white. Still like the white!

Re: Weather report
On way in to work on nightshift and it's 10 deg C. And that's the North of Scotland. This time last year we were under about 6 inches of snow! Long may it last. No rush to lock PCX up for winter.

Re: mac's PCX
Yeah thought I would see what's happening else where. Good forum.
mac's PCX
Had her since March. Now with over 3000 miles, used her every day to work. (well except for one day-needed the car to carry a large load). Hopefully the snow will keep of for a while yet!!
