Re: Tax
If you go to the online tax site and put in the info you have it might let you tax it if your insurance checks out. There is a number to call there to do it all on the phone so a human being may well be able to sort it out for you! ? Hope this helps.

A GRAND DAY OUT. Post your pics.
I had a good ride out to Bridlington on the east coast of Yorkshire. Stopped at the Seaways cafe in Fridaythorpe for a bacon butty and a cup of tea. Them on to Bridlington and a bag of chips (french fries) and a walk along the seafront. You can no doubt see a theme developing here. About 120 miles i...

Re: What is the range on the PCX?
I have a 2013 pcx 125 and get 110mpg ( UK gallons) per tank fill. I fill to as close to the bar in the tank as I can get. If I fill up as soon as the last fuel guage segment starts starts flashing it takes 4.7L to fill up to the bar again. I'd say 110 miles per tank with a 20 mile reserve (one litre...

Good idea to take some pics on your ride out. I went out today's too ,towards Scarborough, over the moors. Must take my camera if we get another dry sunny day before the frost arrives and the roads get salted.

what is the best way to shade your eyes?
I live in the North of England. At this time of year the sun is low on the horizon. We have had a lot of clear cloudless days lately and the sunshine can be blinding. I had a near miss yesterday when a driver pulled out right in front of me. She said she could not see me because of the Sun in her ey...

Re: Bike Test Auto UK
I have the same problem. Do I go for training on a geared bike or try and find a trainer with a big scooter that will satisfy the A or A2 licence requiremants? I had a geared yamaha 125 and didn't get along with it at all. With the PCX and no gears to bother with I can concentrate on the road and th...

Re: How long you been riding?
First bike was a Honda 50 cub. I was 19. Then a Honda cd175 that was past its best. Work, wife and kids got in the way of any other bikes till now. Just to make up for it I have a Three wheeler Kit car, front wheel drive, with a Moto Guzzi 950 Lemans racing engine, a Honda 50 moped and a new pxc125....

Re: Pics of my pcx and other ride
Good looking bikes. Is that a Honda Cub, along with the PCX? Yes it is a Honda Cub . In 1985 in the UK they changed the rules about what you could ride and at what age etc. This type of bike was classified as a "moped" that is, under 50cc and limited to 32 mph. You can ride it at 16. I ca...

Pics of my pcx and other ride
I started on a Honda 50 Moped. This one is fully automatic, no gear shift, it is limited to 32 mph to get the designation"Moped" which means that in the UK you can drive it on your normal car licence.

HI all
Hi all, got my new pcx this week. I decided to get my motorbike licence now I've retired. I have been riding around for the last 4 weeks on a Yamaha ybr 125. The Yamaha was good, it did what it was supposed to, but I just could not get used to the clutch and gear arrangement. The foot operated gear ...
