Re: got my new 2016 PCX 150 today
Do any of you feel like you hit a speed limiter on your PCX. My 2013 would not let you go past 68 MPH, the motor would like "shut down" until you got below that speed, then it would run right back up to 68, then do it all over again, I have not tried the 2016 that fast yet.

Re: got my new 2016 PCX 150 today
Hey mel46 how did you get past 70. With my 2013 going down a long grade, it would hit 70 easy, but sounded like it had a limiter in it so it could not go past the 68 to 70 mark.

Re: got my new 2016 PCX 150 today
first tank of fuel 106.4 mpg, only does 63MPH right now, but only has 200 or so miles on it. Once broke in I will open it up. I loved my black 2013 also, but sold it to get my CTX700. This one is silver and black, my favorite colors, seat feels way better. I think it is going to be just fine I paid ...

got my new 2016 PCX 150 today
Picked up my silver 2016 pcx today. I like it better than my 2013 150 that I sold to buy my CTX700. Styling is better, has a bigger fuel tank, larger glove box with power port, plus has a tab to hold up the seat when open. I seems to run a lot better, my 2013 took almost 500 miles before running at ...

Re: replacement seat seal
got it to fit, had trim some of the seat material away. My try a different seal material , like foam. What I am experiencing is that when I close the seat with the Honda one, it rolls out to the side because there is nothing to hold it in place. As for the seat ,I got it from biker bitz. it is the s...

Re: replacement seat seal
my factory Honda seat had a groove that the seal fit into. My replacement seat does not. I put the factory seal on the seat with some new 2 way tape, but when I close it the seal rolls out of place.

replacement seat seal
I have a after market seat from Thailand but I did not order the seal to go with it, I thought the factory Honda one would work, but it doesn't . Is the seal for this seat worth buying ? does it work? or is there a better way to seal up the seat?

Re: New to forum, and a new PCX 150 owner
Well I have just over 300 miles on mine now, and it holds 60 to 62 just fine. I just added a short/medium GIVI windshield to it, but have not got to try it out yet.

Re: New to forum, and a new PCX 150 owner
Mpg to me is not a really big issue with this scooter, mpg in the 80s to 90s would be great. What I really need for it to do is be able to stay above 55 mph on my drive to work. I got this scooter for its dry lockable storage which makes it great for errands around town, and commuting back and for t...

Re: New to forum, and a new PCX 150 owner
Thanks for all greetings from everyone, enjoying the site a lot. Now for the update, I get my short Givi windshield Monday, and I have added a Givi 35 liter box trunk, now all I have to do is fix the seat. Tried to order one from powerbypcx, but have not gotten it to work yet, any advice on ordering?

Re: New to forum, and a new PCX 150 owner
Great info. I will have to do some more studying on this. My bike takes off great and I am ok with my top speed of 60 mph, just wished it would "downshift" when going up hills to let the motor rev up more, so can maintane it's speed. Right now the motor lugs or bogs down climbing hills, an...

What are these rollers that they are talking about, and how does the weight of them matter?

Thanks for the info, I am leaning toward either the +25 ermax or the medium or shorter givi.
My scooter is doing a lot better now that I have over 300 miles on it. Very pleased, 60 mph no problem

Re: New to forum, and a new PCX 150 owner
Thanks for the input, I am breaking in the engine the correct way, just had to try highway speeds once, and was disappointed, but figured it would do better after more miles are logged on it. All I need it to do is 55 to 60 mph so I want get in the way going to work. My motorcycle really picked up p...

Re: New to forum, and a new PCX 150 owner
I was thinking the same thing, but would rather not have to put a windshield on it. The advertisement for this scooter said it was good for 60+ mph. May be it needs a few more miles on it. I do not want, or need to go faster than 60, maybe after the warranty period is over, I can do something to the...

New to forum, and a new PCX 150 owner
Just wanted to say hello to everyone, and to say thanks for the great info I have gotten from this site so far. I have a question about my new 2013 150. I just got it and have only put 60 miles on it, so I am still going through the break in period. My question is after break in, will performance pi...
