Re: Givi AF1123 Installed this morning

Can't tell for sure, but it appears (to me) that this Givi screen stands straighter than the Honda version.

Oh, BTW, thanks for the report and the pics.

Welcome PA guy, Pa has some nice riding there. Lincoln hwy, Intercourse, etc. The BurgmanUSA group meets up there twice a year for their unofficial rally. Looking forward to your report/pictures of the adjustable windshield. Seems to be more functional than pretty on the Givi website, but they are d...

Re: How long do the original tires last on the forza

Road surfaces can make a large difference also.
Riding local on tar/gravel & asphalt roads mixed, I get 4-5k US miles on rear.
Same tire, same bike, same rider (me), I can ride 10k+ with same rear on highways.
I do not go wot. I drive about 60 mph on the highway.

Re: Forza - 1000 mile update

Chicken, At 300 miles, you really have nothing to worry about (yet). As you, I have my regular routes. The first 5 fill ups (leading up to the 600 mile service) I got as low as 48.4 and as high as 68.6 mpg. This is actual and not the econo meter. I was worried, as you, that something was amiss. Afte...

Re: Bought two new Forza's for wife and myself

Rew, It is normal for the MPG to increase until shortly after the first service, so with the larger screen and the MPG still increasing, I would think is a positive indication of it's aerodynamics. If it isn't to much bother, I would appreciate a photo head on to see the width and hand coverage. Tha...

Agreed. And by the way, I have no intention of letting the 300cc size from keeping me from using it for a once-in-a-lifetime mega-trip after I retire in a couple of years. I have started the planning stages now, and am comfortable that this bike has the reliability and performance that I need to do...

Re: Bought two new Forza's for wife and myself

The problem isn't finding a distributor of that brand, it's finding one that will order that specific product.
3 dealers in my area and not one carries it. Have to special order.

Let me see if I understand this, Add 10% ethanol reduces my mpg approx 10%, so I have to burn 10% more to go the same as before? I am now burning ethanol which I didn't before and this helps saves the environment? By diverting a food product to gasoline, I guess this will help the hungry? It deterio...

Re: Givi vs Honda Screen

The Honda screen leaves the hands in the wind....right? The GIVI screen looks like it might afford more protection for the hands. You're correct, but so far no one has verified the Givi. Another post today shows 2 ordered and one being installed. We should find out soon. Here is the post: http://ww...

Re: Forza Gas Gauge acting up

Forza fuel tank is 3.0 US gallons. I multiply the economy meter by 3 and subtract about 10-15 miles to get my upper limit. 25 fill ups so far. Refilled at 2.9 gallons once, usually about 2.7. I get similar to you. I've got 2700 miles, had 24 fill ups. One of my regular trips is 183 miles one way wh...
