Re: PCX 150 2013 stability and acceleration
2nd half of this video shows it had good acceleration and is a great scooter for a 110 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWpp7wagGao PCX 125 has better acceleration and top end so 150 should easily outclass it at the expense of mpg. I'd imagine most scooters 110 and over pull away really fast. That...

Re: valve adjustment
Maybe I should just watch the YouTube video and check them myself? I'm just afraid of messing it up, which is about what happens about half the time when I try to play mechanic. Sometimes I make things better, sometimes I make them worse. I checked/adjusted mine just for fun, at 500 miles both valv...

Re: Post your Mods & Rev Limited Top Speed Here!!!

Re: Post your Mods & Rev Limited Top Speed Here!!!
I'm just jealous of all the folks who get 65 mph new. I use my scoot for around town, but also ride some stretches with speed limit of 55. Part of the reason I waited for the 150 was to have more power in reserve. I would like to be confident that I stand a chance in traffic if I have to do a short ...

Re: valve adjustment
Quite a few people say the valve's were out on the 1st service (that's if many dealers actually check by removing covers and doing it properly - there were posts that Honda advised dealers 'only if necessary') - but I wonder if they go out due to bedding in or if they are just not setup properly du...

Re: Post your Mods & Rev Limited Top Speed Here!!!
I have 1200+ miles on my PCX 150. Finally got the nerve to open the throttle all the way yesterday on a clear straightaway. Only went up to 60 mph! Tried it a couple other times and got up to about 63. Almost 65 going downhill, but that was it. Is this normal for a new bike?

Re: PCX 150 2013 stability and acceleration
I've been very pleased with the acceleration of my PCX150, particularly from 0-35 mph - perfect for beating the cages across the intersection. For my purposes, I get up to 55 - 60 mph just fine. Above that is a little slow, but that's fine with me since I stay off the interstate.

I was doing 55-60 through the bayou. Not sure what these little ones are. But it will soon be love bug season - they fly around having sex in midair, which means double the guts!

Re: Mounting Givi topcase
Is it just me, or does the Givi mounting brackets make it look a bit like a UFO trying to land on the back of the scoot? The Honda rack mount seems to look a little more like it belongs there, albeit maybe a bit more bulky?
