tmax
I see the Yamaha Tmax is available in the US this year. One thing it would do easily is cruise the interstates at 80-85 mph. That's the one thing the Forza can't do that I would like. Yes, cruising 70-75 with short spurts at 80 is fine, but not 2 hr at 80-85. But the Tmax is $11,000 and only gets 46...

Re: front tire replacement
You're right. If you've got 19,000 miles so far, I ought to be able to get more. I just don't want to get down to the belt like I did for the rear tire.

Re: front tire replacement
The front tire looks OK. But, it seems easier to replace both now. I mostly use it for commuting, a 50 mile round trip at 55 to 70 mph. But, I have a couple of 500 mile round trips coming up, mostly at 70+ mph, some at 90+ degrees.

front tire replacement
At 10,500 miles I will be replacing my rear tire for a second time. On average how long do the front tires last? I haven't replaced it yet, but probably will at the same time.

Re: After pump repairs & PCX valves
They did the same to mine, except they cracked it in 3 places. This was after messing up the fuel pump installation the first time. I brought it home and filled it up with gas from a can. The gas leaked out slowly and continuously. They cracked the panel when I took it back. Mine's on back-order unt...

Re: Larger rear tire: does it change speedo?
I replaced the standard Honda dealer rear tire with the same tire. But I'm dis-satisfied with the first one. I only got 4500 miles. I'm waiting to hear about how those other tires perform after a few thousand miles.

Re: squeaky brakes after replacing back tire
How do I know it's not too far back? If it's loose enough to adjust by hand won't the vibrations of riding constantly change the position of the adjuster?

Re: squeaky brakes after replacing back tire
Thanks Alibally. The brake adjuster does make a difference in the sound level. I have the squeak down to almost nothing. I think if I play around with it a little I can completely eliminate it. I'm concerned with the service I got now knowing what a simple fix it is. How could they send it out knowi...

squeaky brakes after replacing back tire
I had my back tire replaced yesterday. Also, I had a 4000 mile service. They told me they had to clear a lot of dust out of the brakes. They warned me that the brakes were now squeaking as a result of the dust but the performance would not be effected. I noticed right away the bike was squeaking eve...
