Re: Average fuel consumption
Hi ChesneyHawkes. You quickly mentioned above that the 2015 tires are different from previous PCX models (IRC's). Could you please share with us What Brand tires they are and their Sizes? Thanks :) Milage improved slightly for 2015 with the switch to lower rolling resistance tires, even less drag a...

Re: Average fuel consumption
Due to the whole attendant-thing, you aren't able to fill it to the exact same height everytime, that I understand. I assume you do get the volume of gas that is put into it, though. If so, just use that, and after a few fill-ups you'll start getting a good average. It'll probably vary a lot more p...

No reason why the PCX one will be any different.
Re the attendant, just tell hem to fill it full.
Its not rocket science.
I've always said full, but full can vary by up to half a litre sometimes.

... I divide distance by average fuel consumption to get my result of how much fuel has been used." That might be your problem. I think you are going to have to find out how much fuel is actually put in. I think that's easier said than done. The fuel gauge is hardly accurate on the bike, I wou...

I don't know if the gauge is accurate.
That's really all I want to know too.

Re: Average fuel consumption
Hmmm. Your mpg figures are interesting. Nobody else has replied so i'm guessing they might be confused by the numbers you quote in your post. I originally assumed that you meant km per litre, but when i checked your fuelly data you have mpg. And mighty high mpg as well!!!! I have a pcx125 and get 1...

Re: Average fuel consumption
The gauge should be accurate enough. The one on my Forza is accurate to about 3% To correctly calculate fuel consumption, fill the tank to the brim, zero the trip meter, ride till the tank is nearly empty then fill the tank back to the brim. You now have a figure for distance travelled and fuel use...

Re: Average fuel consumption
Your mileage sounds almost too good. I can't recall, do you have a 2014/15 model? I have never got close to 400 kms out of a tank. I drive exclusively in downtown Bangkok, and I drive fairly hard, but 400 kms sounds like a lot unless you have the new model which has a larger tank. Are you not able ...

Average fuel consumption
Hi Guys I'm using fuelly.com to track my PCX 150's fuel consumption. The way I do it may not be entirely accurate as I divide distance by average fuel consumption to get my result of how much fuel has been used. Because I'm in Thailand, a full differs as I have no control over the filling process my...

Re: How long does it take to drive 10.7 miles in London ?
Time of day? I'd just run it on googlemaps as it will take into account the traffic. You can probably knock a bit of time off as it will base the calculations on a car not a scooter. Also, where you cross the North Circ. is a roundabout so not so much waiting I think.

Re: New White PCX 150
First service done at the main Honda dealer near my home. Got all my work on the previous PCX there, never a problem and super cheap. Didnt't buy the bike from them as I got a much better deal from another shop. Cost was £2.50! I thought they missed a zero somewhere. Gave the guy a £2 tip since it w...

Re: what colour. ?
My matt white keeps getting super dirty, and seems to stain a lot. I love the white, but not the constant need to wash it.
If there is a gloss option, I'd get that.

Re: ? top speed pcx 125?
I was doing 100km/h comfortably for my 350km round-trip. Of course I was on a PCX 150 but I have done 95km/h for the same trip on my PCX125. Difference is I can now crank it up to 115-118km/h when overtaking. On a flat road with no wind assist I doubt you can can go above 62mph without any modificat...

Re: And the excitement ends
Hello guys, Here I am once again updating you on the issues and had to have my PCX recovered by AA. - glove box doesn't shut - centre console of the glove box has massive movement - dash board squeaks and rattles - oil stains around the engine bolts meaning possible oil leak Now it has gone back to...

Re: Fuelly.com call to arms
Just loaded my first result on the 2014 (or 2015 as Honda seem to be labeling it) but not sure it's entirely accurate as it wasn't a 0-100 fill up. Gonna run through with the trip counter reset, but it's gonna take some time to burn through eight litres! I guess the 350km round trip I'm taking this ...

There are many little things to like on the new model. I love having a hazard light switch, charging my phone on the go is a godsend and LED lighting is much better.

But how does your salary compare to average earnings in Thailand? 2nd sentence of my previous post. What about it? You make no mention of what average earnings are in Thailand. If I was on a local salary it'd come to about three months pay. Sorry that wasn't clear, I was stating this to be an avera...

Re: New White PCX 150
Yup, looks like they are making it easy to install the top box. If the box you intend to get has a brake light you will probably need to removed that next piece of plastic in order to get to the wiring. Not sure I can be bothered with a brake light system when I get a top box, the brake light on th...
