If you don't have that key ID tag, if you ever need it the number may be printed on the barrel of the lock ;)

My insurance is with Dial Direct, cheap premium (under £100 fully comp with £150 excess) but they are not the best insurer, lots of naughty sneaky charges like when I moved house.... that'll be £50 please sir... Ker-ching! Look at Car...

Re: Trouble removing crankcase cover

Are you suggesting using cardboard as a gasket? o_O For this application, yes. Cylinder head or exhaust manifold gasket... absolutely not. It's not like the belt cover gasket does anything much - just keeps dust out really. I think it just needs to be airtight so that there are no air leaks in the ...

Re: found a used Jcoasta variator

I was thinking more about the CofG rather than seat height.
Me no likey the road handling of big bikes on stilts.
Proper trailies shouldn't be more than 400cc and should always be single cylinder.

I like the S.
Lower to the ground, doesn't have a silly looking beak and a good bit cheaper.

Re: found a used Jcoasta variator

That NC700X looks to be a very interesting beastie.
8000 miles between services..... nice :)
The NC700S is also looking good and is a fair bit cheaper, UK price is £5300-ish

Re: found a used Jcoasta variator

Well, he did compare topboxes to cancer once and now he has one of them :p Yep I seem to remember he did. And he has, an E300B, should have got a slightly bigger one :( Major difference between the merits of purchasing a topbox and a JCosta variator... a standard PCX doesn't have a topbox but it do...

My friend martin looking at a bike identical to the ones he has. (he knows this bike too, i cannot remember the details though). That's a works Kawasaki KR500 as raced by Kork Ballington. If your mate has one of those, he must be a wealthy man, they are extremely rare and should be worth a fortune.
