Strange...
I know a person who installed Yuminashi vario and Dr. Pulley sliders and top speed of 87mph. No problem what so ever.

Re: J.Costa variator on 2015 PCX 125 ESP
There is some problem with your transmission... I have also an 125eSP and stock top speed was around 120 and with JCosta around 130. Some mods in the JCosta and I was geting around 132. It was my first video with JCosta and two persons downhill. [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvn4ir1svE8[/...

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
Top speed on the stand is approx 3mph higher than actual rev limited top speed on the road, even on a downhill from all my testing. I have to disagree because my PCX 125 on center stand will hit rev limiter at 132 km/h and downhill if not to much wind from front I hit the same. I don't know if it's...

Re: So, how'd that engine mod work out for you?
Have about 700 miles on my Yuminashi cam, rockers, double valve springs, intake manifold, injector and throttle body. So far so good ;) ...better than vario and sliders alone, for sure. I would like to make the same mod on my 125 PCX because a big bore kit I'm afraid also that it will be too much. ...

Re: Homie was right!!! 13g better than 12g rollers!
Rev limiter is 9800+ RPM... For example at this moment with JCosta vario I'm at 9500+ around 120Kph. I'm not sure but I think is that. What I know for sure is the rev limiter.
With sliders I have less RPM for the same speed when I give full throtle and keep it.

Disagree sendler2112. I'm not an expert but what I can see in the tacho is: stock vario with Pulley sliders at 100 I'm around 8040 rpm at full throttle.

Re: Homie was right!!! 13g better than 12g rollers!
Not sure why it would pull a wheelie any better one way or the other with different weights since the engine is at a lower rpm to begin with when you yank it. But rear wheel torque is always the highest for any given speed when the engine is at the rpm of the power peak, not the torque peak, becaus...

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
It:s correctly installed and 100 was with Pulley sliders but 15gr.
My top speed is around 130kph. What I am thinking is since I installed lighter ones the rpm at 90kph are after my power band.

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
Installed a cheap tacho and at least I can see now where RPM's are at different speeds.
With 12gr Dr. Pulley at 90 kph I'm at 8040 rpm in the uphill close to my work place. Never got 100 kph like before with 15gr... So I will order 14,50gr. I think it's better overall.

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
Loud pipe it's nice since it give more safer riding. People in car's ear you. I see that here. I will install 14,50gr because it's close to minus 15% Dr.Pulley advice. I liked 15 but... 12 in my opinion it's too much and I have lag on take off. More than this I think it's waste of money unless a big...

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
So I installed 17gr stock rolers but kept the Polini contra spring and in general on flats it's almost or the same than Dr. Pulley Sliders or JCosta variator or whatever I try. Uphill I lost a bit compared to 12gr sliders. Uphill better than totally stock cause I have also the Givi windscreen, exhau...

Re: NCY variator and sliders - not a good combo
shivayash let me tell you that even JCosta isn't the masterpice of variator's. Yeah it gives more acceleration on take off and more top speed but only downhill. I had it installed for a lot of km and now I'm using stock variator with Dr. Pulley sliders and some mod's on the variator and it is giving...

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
Since I can not be stopped I need to test more things just to have an ideia of things. What to you think if I remove for know the 12gr sliders and keep the Polini contra spring and install 17gr stock rollers? In general where the PCX will be better only whith the contra spring from Polini? Another t...

Re: Tuned / Modified Honda Forza 300 (NSS300A) From Thailand
I can't see this!!! Just awsome pics! My favorite for an upgrade of my PCX 125!
Just wondering about the rear suspention in that angle. Stock isn't like that so just need to add that "thing" to the end of rear fork?

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
I have a free flow exhaust. I liked 15gr but with 12gr and cruising around 40kph and give it throtlle the scooter its really fast to 80 but after that... On flat it's easy to go more than 110kph.
I'll probably upgrade to a Forza but...

Re: Maximizing your Dr. Pulley sliders
Just a question to you all. I installed 12gr sliders. It's being awsome since the instalation but I think from 80 to 100kph takes more time...
I will do more tests but probably too light?
