Re: Question about buying a Forza
I totally agree with dergav. Not one problem with mine, except for the 2 recalls which may not even been necessary. I'm 5'10", if you are shorter you would want to sit on one and make sure your feet can touch the ground at a stop. I did put the taller windshield on, along with this add-on spoil...

Re: Top speed?
Mine is happy at 70 in any conditions but takes ages to get over 80. Won't do 80 uphill or into a headwind. All hat hassle and fuss for 10mph over a pcx. Does the Forza have any good points? Your maths are a bit dodgy... In the real world my PCX sometimes dropped to around 40mph uphill if there was...

Re: Top speed?
I was on the highway today and all the traffic around me was going 80 mph so I decided to ride along with them. Did it no problem, handled great. OK, so how heavy are you? I am about 200 pounds with all my gear (heavy gear, yeah right!) I am wide open throttle at 80 mph and it is rough. Today I did...

Re: Rear shock options
I had the Malossi shocks put on mine this year also. You are never going to eliminate a bumpy ride on a bumpy road with a scooter. But the ride is smoother than it was with the original shocks. There is a road here that I could hardly ride on before because of one bump after another, but with the ne...

Mine used to work until I added the airhawk seat pad last year, damper is worthless now.

Changing antifreeze and brake fluid
I was just wondering how often everyone changes their brake fluid and radiator coolant. The manual says to replace the radiator coolant every 24000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. And to replace the brake fluid every 12000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. Is is necessary to change t...

Re: 2017 Forza 300
I don't want the scooter to be any lighter. I've had 150cc scooters in the past and on windy days I could hardly ride them, got pushed around too much. I would like to have a more comfortable seat.

Re: more fuel capacity
Its enough for about 200 miles. If you need more put a fuel container under the seat. Wow. How are you managing to get 200 miles out of a tank? Even when I'm trying to hypermile, I can't get more than about 135 miles out of my tank. Is you tank empty or is the guage just saying it is empty? When th...

I hook up a battery tender to mine over the cold months and don't disconnect it until warmer weather. I don't ride during the winter months. These batteries like to have a full charge.

You wouldn't have happened to hit the kill switch by accident maybe? I've done that already and it took me a while to figure out that I bumped the switch.

Just think of all the mpg's you're saving versus driving a car or suv, will make those every other day fillups more enjoyable.

Yep, my gps matches up with the speedo on my forza accurately also. Some people have complained that the speedo is off, but according to my gps it is right on at speeds up to 70 mph.

Re: Red October's First Ride!
I long for 75 degree days again. It's only in the 50's here and will be 40's by the weekend. Glad you enjoyed your ride, I couldn't believe how quiet it was when I first rode it either.

Looks like it will be a much more comfortable ride, and it's always good to make yourself more visible. Let me know how the malossi shocks are after you get them installed. I've been thinking about getting them myself, but it will have to wait until next year now.

Re: Should I trade it in?
About the fastest I ride my Forza is 70 mph ( don't see any reason to have to go any faster ) but have no problems riding at this speed. Still stable and smooth for me even at this speed. The only problem I have is it does ride a little rough on bumpy roads. Just want to remind everyone to keep an e...

Re: See what happens when you ride sensibly?!
1 US mpg is equal to 1.2 UK mpg https://www.unitjuggler.com/convert-fuelconsumption-from-mpg-to-mpgimperial.html So 68 US mpg would be equal to 81.6 UK mpg Location makes a lot of difference in mpg also, people in higher altitudes get a higher mpg. That's why a lot of people in higher altitudes in t...

Re: Opinion on engine additives
My Forza performs great just the way it is, I don't plan on any mods or making any changes, just do what the manual says. Leave well enough alone. I've learned from the past from trying to mod 150's for greater performance, that it affects the longevity of the machine.

Branyers14, I saw those shocks quite a while ago but didn't want to be the first to try them, bookmarked the site. Now that you've tried them and say they help, I may have to order them for next year. Right now I'm having eye vision problems so have to get that corrected first. Thanks for posting ab...

Re: 73 MPG !
You need to remember that the US liquid gallon is different than the UK imperial gallon. Also, fuel in the USA and UK is different, different fuels give different efficiencies. It would be better if we had separate threads comparing US mpg's in one thread and UK mpg's in another. It doesn't do any g...
