Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
Hey BRed, I can't even imagine the variator being better than it is but I trust you. As for your NT700, congrats. I have always loved that machine and have always kept an open eye for a good deal, but my only wish was that it had a 6th gear. I was looking at NT700's as recently as a month ago and th...

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
If peak torque is around 6500rpm, I might just give a test with all 6 19g sliders just to drop the RPM a tad and see the difference. I will likely wait till I get past about 1000 miles before I document any findings just to be thorough in my testing. I'll, of course, keep monitoring my fuel economy,...

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
Hello old friends. I thought I would wake this thread up with a Dr. Pulley update. Much of what I'm posting has been rung through the ringer, but I feel like adding my thoughts. At this point I own both a 2014 Forza 300 and a 2015 PCX 150, having just sold a 2013 PCX (which are slightly faster on to...

Re: Larger rear tire: does it change speedo?
I changed my stock rear from the 140/70/13 to a 150/70/13. This will change the speedo and the odometer and the fuel calculation slightly. Here are the numbers: 140/70/13... Diameter: 20.7" Circumference: 65" Revs/Mile: 974 150/70/13... Diameter: 21.3" Circumference: 66.8" Revs/M...

Re: Rough engine
I remember taking the Forza on its maiden "voyage" through Malibu Canyon and Pacific Coast Hwy. I left Hollywood at sunset and rode into the night (about a 60-mile loop. I was happy with my new purchase and started flirting with higher speeds on the freeway, despite only having about 200 m...

Re: Rear Shocks
Sorry for the delay. I weigh 200 pounds and I felt like I was riding a hardtail with the stock shocks. If you're only 145, you'll see a bigger improvement than me since you don't have even my extra weight pushing against the stock very stiff shocks. The difference is night and day. I'm not exaggera...

Re: Rear Shocks
My biggest complaint with the Forza were the rear shocks. Probably the worst stock suspension on any Honda I've owned. After much research, I ended up with Malossi shocks and it completely transforms the scooter. I also changed the rubber to Dunlop SX01. At the time of my purchase, they didn't make...

Re: Rear shock options
It comes from bangkok : bikerzbits.com, 240 € and surprise 50€ for custom fees. For the moment, nothing very different. Its new, i have to ride a little, and have to find the right setup. I am thinking that this idea of fitting some very pretty new aftermarket shocks to vastly improve the ride of o...

Re: Forza versus Majesty
I might be late to the discussion, but thought I would add a bit to the discussion. I had a PCX 125, loved it. Sold it, got a PCX150. Rode a Majesty, bought a Forza 300. Most everything has been said here, but I'll add that the Majesty is a fantastic machine. I prefer it to the Burgman actually, but...
