Re: Naked-Tail Street Fighter PCX150, Love it? Hate It?
Anyone that has disassembled their bodywork would know that underneath the tail plastics of the 2015+ PCX150 there is a BEAUTIFUL black powdercoated OEM seat frame that accentuates the curves that a naked version of the PCX might have had. And while I discovered it a few years ago I never had the c...

Wow, I was just thumbing through (lurking) as usual, reading the new posts and saw the new forum pages. Well, if this isn't pressure to get my sale and new purchase finalised, I don't know what is !!!

Re: Opinion? 2007 Vespa GTS 250ie - 6,000 miles & sat for 7m
I think I understand your concerns. Somewhat similar to you, I recently bought a 2011 bike which had under 1000kms (genuine). It had been sat outside part of the time and the rest was in a garage. Apart from some very slight corrosion as it was near the sea it was like new and hardly ridden. Emulsif...

Great effort. The swing looks awesome in black, way better than the silver imho. With a comfy chair of a ride like that it's hard to imagine how painful the experience was

Mitch's Scooter Stuff & Vespa Motorsport
I just posted on another thread and though to myself, hey why not share this in case others would like to see it? https://www.youtube.com/user/mitchsscooterstuff/videos I'd just like to tip my hat to Mitch for an awesome channel. Similarly, maybe some of you will enjoy https://www.youtube.com/user/m...

What type of helmet is that? I saw one ( I think ) on a youtube channel I like (called Mitch's Scooter Stuff) (check it out). I think I saw the same lid there, in white. It seems to have a full face but a huuuuge visor which must be great in the sun. (Sorry, i'm in new helmet mode and can't help mys...

Re: **Update** A short string of bad luck.....
Sounds like an ok deal. I just missed an opportunity in Oz to buy a near new PCX150 like yours which had slid down the road. Other than some scratches it was fine, and he only wanted $AU 1800 for it. It was NEW. Lasted about 3 days before someone bought it. Lots of people are put off by scratches, d...

Thanks gn2. Yeah, I quite like the look of the XTown. I might check one out locally if I can find it on a dealer floor.
Cheers!

Re: Stolen: Suzuki Bandit 600, Farnworth 11th August 22:00
I had the same bike, same colour a few years ago. Bought it new and did about 40,000kms in a couple years, mainly leisure riding. I think to this day it is the best bike I ever owned. Hope your mate gets it back again soon!

Re: 2018 Honda PCX Performance
Loving all the sea-of-the-pants dyno experiments here :) Going back a few threads, the Vespa has smaller wheels and is lighter (as pointed out) so even with the same HP the engine will rev faster and spin those small wheels faster. I bet you have a little better top speed though on the PCX? The road...

Shark X16 ATV/Bike/Scooter helmet
Ok, ok, i'm almost done with telling everyone how amazing this helmet is... http://www.farmingahead.com.au/technology/latest-releases/new-product-good-lid/ Yes, it's a farming magazine but it gives the general details. I think this might be the future! Think it's only available in Oz at the moment b...

Re: SH150i / SH300i
Thanks for the feedback guys and gals. I'm eyeing up the 150 as the 300 didn't come to Oz (yet?) I must say I was interested in the Vespa GTS300 or XMAX300 but figure that the GTS300 is double the price for an extra 7hp (looks great though) and the XMAX seems to be a myth as nobody has seen one here...

Hi Suzxee, My extended stay was to part of the tsunami reconstruction. It was a privilege to visit many islands and meet many wonderful and friendly local people. Wonderful food too :) You are lucky to have the absolute best diving waters in the world. I really enjoyed line fishing at night as well....

Re: Burgman 400 to PCX 125
Light 'n fun vs fat 'n cumbersome.
It's that simple.
The stability and added weight of larger bikes are sometimes nice but the flickability and general ease of use of the smaller <250cc bikes are unbeatable IMHO.
Hope you love the 125.

Re: Revving on center stand, due to frequent slow speed.
Asalammu alaikum Suzxee. I spent a couple of years in Male' and Vilufushi and understand your concern. From memory Male' has about the most people per sq.km of any place (I used to jog around the entire island each morning, took about 40 mins. :) I would not be concerned. Maybe try revving sometimes...
