Re: Second Service

No didn't part exchange as their offer was too low for my liking so I sold it for the price I wanted to someone in London..... I bought their Service office even though I didn't purchase any Bikes from them, but as they are my local Honda Dealers I thought it would be best to keep everything with th...

Re: Second Service

I'm not that happy with them at all regarding my PCX, the fact they had it for weeks and changed parts that didn't seen it or help at all, the fact I had the Bike back with a scratch, and missing bolts and washers.... ended up selling it in the end and got the MSX, only thing is, it'll be Thunder Ro...

Re: PCX125 buzzing sound, very annoying

Hey,

I can't actually remember :-/ I bought a Honda MSX in October, and told the PCX not all that long ago, but I honestly can't remember if it was sorted or not.

Re: Rear Tyre

Thanks gn2
I have paperwork about the Tyre that's all, so I don't want him seeing it after buying and then mentioning it to me,
unless I just not give it to him, as again, there should still be a lot of wear left on the Tyre so he can get it checked whenever.

Thanks again :-)

Re: Rear Tyre

Thanks a lot for the info :-)

So i'll tell the next owner that the rear Tyre will need changing at around 4500 miles, as it's on just over 2600 at the moment.

Re: Rear Tyre

So 4000-5000 miles, and you're on 7200 miles.... I wasn't riding it daily, and when I did ride it was usually around 30-60 minutes each time, just normal streets, nothing rocky or anything like that, but at 2600 they told me it would need changing soon as it was getting close to teh wear limit, so w...

Rear Tyre

Hey, As some of you know, I had a 2015 Honda PCX, bought it in February 2015, and it went in for it's second Service in October 2015, I was told that the rear Tyre would need to be changed soon.... as I was selling the Bike, and it wasn't being used by myself, I didn't bother with it, but the Dealer...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Thanks for the advice :-) I might do my CBT again to be honest, was only doing my full test at the moment to get rid of the L-Plates, as I don't go on motorways or have people on the Bike anyway, but with this Bike the L-Plates aren't bothering me too much.... and I don't need anything bigger than a...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Yep, my CBT expires in June though, and I wanted to go for my full test in June, so wanted to get the Bike and get good on it before then, otherwise if i'm not 100% in June, i'll redo my CBT again.

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Grom has 4 gears.... and i'm already on your Crash list :-) I started seeing the Grom on some Motovloggers videos and started to look into them and it's because of them I decided to get a manual at the time I did, the fact it's the perfect size for me as well I feel more comfortable on it than havin...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Haha, only 2, 1 where the Car drove into me, and the other on this MSX was due to the wet floor, a turn and really shit stock Tyres! wasn't that much damage actually, was surprised, just the bits that stick out... Mirror/Lever/Grip/Peg, better Tyres on now though which seem a LOT better! everyone I ...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Hey, Bike slid out on the wet with stock tyres a week before Xmas, got some City Grip Winters on it now, and replaced some bits that were damaged, but all good now, riding is easier now as well, still getting there but a lot better :-) Got the Seat on, Mudguard, new front and back Indicators (both n...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Thought i'd update this :-) Still learning to ride the MSX, a lot better than a was before, obviously never being on a manual before, but I can start off with no issues now, upshifting isn't a problem, i've been practising when to downshift lately, went out around normal streets lastnight to do the ...

Just tried it in the garden at 4000rpm and had no issues, no stutter, nothing, so once the weather gets a little better i'll go out and try it properly :-) thanks guys.

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

I can set off good a lot of the time, what sendler said is what I was after, as I was doing it at about 2k revs..... again, because of the LOUD exhaust it felt weird to me revving it higher to take off, but as he said rev to 4k so i'll try that today... I know everything else, was obviously just not...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Yep I can do that... just dont think im giving it enough throttle... it has a Tyga exhaust without a baffle which is loud, so to me it just seems weird..... Can I rev the Bike high'ish and slowly let the Clutch go? as at the moment i'm letting the Clutch out and giving it a bit if Throttle, and stal...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)

Just got back from my first proper ride.... was ok, it's still just setting off from a complete stop, got stopped at a traffic light, stalled, Car behind me so let him go, light turned red, did the same thing again, with another Car, third time I did it.... had to stop a couple more times and stalle...
