Re: why the PCX??

One day I started looking at scooters on the net and got caught by my Husband. He showed an extreme interest. I did more research and concluded that the Honda PCX would be the best for my Husband and I. I presented my findings to my husband and he approved. next thing I know, we are the happy owners...

Re: Motorcycle Helmets

Got my CL-16 today! Looks much better in person than in pics, fits very snug without being too tight, and is much quieter than my Vega. In the sunlight it nearly glows! My only complaint is that the "Dark Smoke" visor isn't as dark as my Vega's "Smoke". Oh well... $101 well spen...

Re: the motorcyclist Wave

My husband and I went for a ride yesterday and got about 5 waves for a variety of riders. No other scoots on the road though. The wave is usually the left arm in a downward position extended out sometimes with a peace sign. And I'm quick to return the wave. I do wonder if they realize we're on scoot...

@Katschamne - Interesting, someone that is OK with the hump. Well, my main complaint about the hump is when I hit a bump or pot hole, my @$$ landed on the hump.

@Josh- I think we do look cool riding our scooters! Screw anyone who tells you differently! ;) Heard a guy in a Mustang yesterday say (in a derogatory fashion as he was pulling away from a stop) "get a motorcycle". That must be a harley then. They don't stray far... Like I said, scr...

Re: Mid life crisis sorted with the new 2015 pcx 125

Congratulations on the new scooter. In California rules are: Helmets are always required Learner permit riders can't ride with a passenger, at night or on the freeways, don't need to ride with another motorcycle though. Learners permit expires in a year. I'd hate riding with the L plate. Not sure h...

@Zippy - BTW welcome to the forum. :D Thanks for the explanation of the L plate. Seen it mentioned a few times and now understand it better. In the US, No training is required to get the motorcycle endorsement on our driver's licence. But, It's recommended though. I took a written test and then a te...
