Another guy from Michigan! Welcome to the forum. Wish I could answer your question. I've never opened it up yet. No problem going 55 and seemed that I had more room left to go faster. just never needed to yet. I weigh 157. No worries, someone will answer your question soon.
@-SteveB. Very sorry to hear about your accident. Very glad that you weren't seriously injured. I hope to never dump it! I wear an armored jacket, knee and shin protection and full face helmet now. also have a pair of armored riding pants for when the weather is cooler. If I dump it, want to be prot...
One day I started looking at scooters on the net and got caught by my Husband. He showed an extreme interest. I did more research and concluded that the Honda PCX would be the best for my Husband and I. I presented my findings to my husband and he approved. next thing I know, we are the happy owners...

In California rules are: Helmets are always required Learner permit riders can't ride with a passenger, at night or on the freeways, don't need to ride with another motorcycle though. Learners permit expires in a year. I'd hate riding with the L plate. Not sure h...
@Zippy - BTW welcome to the forum. :D Thanks for the explanation of the L plate. Seen it mentioned a few times and now understand it better. In the US, No training is required to get the motorcycle endorsement on our driver's licence. But, It's recommended though. I took a written test and then a te...
