Re: Thinking of downsizing to a PCX
Hey Sandymay, I have both scooters and have always found the PCX to be much easier and more fun to ride. The difference is quite striking and immediately apparent. Unless I'm going on a major grocery run or going out of town, I always take the PCX -- I don't even think twice about it. If you plan to...

Re: So I made a new video just for fun
Well, one silver lining is that it's the perfect time of year for a little time off. Remember when you were a kid and you waited in school all winter long looking out the window and waiting for the winter to go away? Then finally, as if by magic, summer arrived and you were set free at the very same...

Yes, Mike, That sounds exactly like my experience with ordering something from Honda which is not on the showroom floor. It seems to be their business model, though it doesn't make sense to us. Compare and contrast with Harley-Davidson, who will tell you on the day you order your bike exactly on whe...

Re: How many miles / km on your Forza?
5400 miles/8700 KM on my 2014. No repairs or replacements of any kind, oil changes at 600m/965km and 5200m/8360km. Still runs great. 87112, I used to have a 300GTS, and I don't think it was nearly as good a scooter as my Forza is. It was cute, though. Gotta give it credit for that. :) Johnny p.s. I ...

Aha!
Limey -- always thinking -- way to go!
Now I'm wondering where all that water is, 'cuz they don't got no marinas in Yellow Springs.
Curiouser and curiouser...
Don't tell us, Fish. We can figure it out on our own.

Beautiful! Looks great -- love the wheels; that front wheel fits the fender perfectly -- nice touch.
Please post some shots of the handlebar/controls/levers. I'm thinking about upgrading mine and need some ideas.

Re: Going camping
Mine works OK but everything about the box tends to be a little too tight. The fact that your key goes all the way in is a good sign, though. I don't have any idea how to get in there to look at the mechanism, but the lock looks pretty straightforward otherwise. Your neighborhood locksmith may know ...

Thanks for the tip on Revzilla, Mel.
I love Revzilla, but I wouldn't have thought of them for tires. Now that's where I'll go.

Llantas y Stickers Garza A tire and sticker shop? Sounds legit. Just ride. :) Gil Sure it's legit! After all, it has the seal of the State of Texas proudly displayed in the window. Garza's deal is that if you're willing to go down there and stand around in the broken glass and transmission fluid wh...

Re: PCX Shipment
Yeah cuz it would be waay too much trouble to drain the oil and gas and coolant and then the plastics would be like NAH! But, on the plus side, the price sounds not bad to me. Take a look at the tires, though. At 10,000 miles the rear will need to be replaced or will already have been replaced. Fron...

UPDATE: Writing that post made me realize that it's already the month of May, so I got my courage up and rode the little feller down to our neighborhood inspection station, Llantas y Stickers Garza, to see if the rear tire would pass muster. !No problema! Flew right through.. Our friend YouYou might...

Re: Insane custom Vespa scooter
When we lived in Dallas, I used to hang out with the vintage (i.e. 2-stroke) Vespa and Lambretta gang. Those guys take this stuff REAL serious and would not have a Honda in their garage for any reason. I'll bet they'd love this machine, though, especially if it's fast and sounds good, which I imagin...
