Re: New road & great porch

Gorgeous photos! And a nice house 'n porch too :P Yours? Careful on that Freshly poured tarmac...oils ya know ;) No, that's one of the farm houses which supplies me with the nice wood smoke on my winter/dawn rides. My major concern, early mornings, are all the animals who come out that time of day....

Re: When you see cows AND scooter riders laying in the field

I think those clouds passed over by this neck of the woods last night . . .. Lightening like a lamp being turned on and off continuously. Minimal thunder though. Then the downpours. The Liberty 150 looks better with the stock, shiny, non-matte paint job IMHO . . .. 8) I'd rather have one of those t...

When you see cows AND scooter riders laying in the fields...

Saw 5 cows and 2 scooter riders laying in a field - so I knew a big rain was coming!** https://i.postimg.cc/gcCJsvDd/P1110755-3.jpg Took shelter before it started, on the Group W bench by Tom's Market. https://i.postimg.cc/qvt1rHK2/P1110766-2.jpg Figured I was OK, don't know about Italy - but I know...

Re: Anyone else drive a VW

Yes the Mexicans assemble a great VW. And S. America makes a great VW engine & transmission! Easy to spot used VWs made in Mexico....one or more lights are burnt out. Usually a tail light. All 6 of mine (3 Beetles, 2 Jettas) were made in Germany, except for the 91 Vanagon GL, which was made in A...

Sorry, I had to stop reading when you started talking about attaching the broken mask with a safety pin.
I guess if you already have pierced ears....but geez that's gotta hurt, otherwise.

Yeah, I do the same since removing the body panels is a pain. No. No....my brother in law never put the hood back on his Chevy either, or the right rear door. It's a 'look' for sure..... And he says mowing takes less time now since the other 3 quit running, and are slowly sinking into the front yar...

New road & great porch

They poured me a new road this week. Really smooth! https://i.postimg.cc/MZ0ndCHX/P1100719.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/c42GYHW3/P1100727.jpg Going to be in my chair with coffee before that gets up! https://i.postimg.cc/4xGkw0K4/P1100731.jpg And I think this farm house has a really great porch. Fish cruises with Crows

I noticed that 3 crows joined me just overhead for 1/4 of a mile on my ride out for coffee this morning.
Allowing for speedo error, i can report that we all were cruising at 29mph.
Or, or....is airspeed figured in knots??

Oh, I don't know. ...Walmart bag hanging from the front purse hook is pretty classy luggage, too. A 6 pc matched set of bags can be hung from so many places on a scooter.
It's a tough call...

Not sure if I can ever trust Italian bikes when there are hondas around.

What's the highest mileage liberty known to be around?
Hard to say.....some 900,000 having been sold.
Would love to own a new RED, bigwheel, stepthrough, 150 Honda....but I live on the wrong continent.

Re: I Biffed It Today. Glad I Got That Out of the Way

Ouch! on that pretty Forza! I phoned city streets dept. a couple of years ago because I was tired of banging through broken pavement at the edge of a bridge on my daily work commute. The gal that answered the phone listened fully to my complaint. Then she said, "Yeah, I hate dodging that on my ...
