Speedometer stopped working and now it works
I took my PCX for a ride today and the speedometer and odometer didn't work but the rest of the dash worked as expected. When I got to my destination I looked around and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. When I started to go home everything worked as normal, so not sure what to do.

Re: split my tail :(
I had a similar issue, not realizing there were clips. I used a small flat head screw driver to push the clips and it worked really nicely.

# sold annually
I was wondering if anyone had a rough idea of how many PCX's were sold annually by Honda.

Re: Spot the difference - it's not the clock
Looks interesting, would like to hear how effective they are and the temps you use them. Another thing, does the alternator produce enough power or do they pull from the battery?

Re: Sissy bar
I agree the best of both worlds would be have Taz's flat rack with sissy bar. From the looks of it, it should be possible. You just need access to the front two mounting holes for the sissy bar and they seem accessible from his picture. rideaddict also sells a luggage rack that appears to work with ...

Re: Sissy bar
I agree, the shape was not ideal but it was the only one I could find. Actually there were some others but I didn't want to deal with overseas shipping and modding them to fit.
The fit is very nice, it bolts to the first two holes that would be used for the top box.

Sissy bar
I ended up with the sissy bar instead of the top box, just didn't like the look of the box. I ordered the sissy bar from rideaddict.com
I have been really happy with it, a lot more comfortable carrying the kids and I use it lock my helmet to the bike.

Re: PCX ?
I bought the PCX back in February and I was looking at the Honda 110 and Vespa 150 and really thought I was buying the Honda 110. I ended up with the PCX because I found it more stable at speeds 30mph+ and I like the extra power over the 110. The Vespa was more money and I couldn't justify the expen...

I was quoted $180 for first service. I did it my self but think I'll take it to the dealer next time because it took me most of the day.

Re: Thinking of trading an Elite 110 too a Pcx
I recently went to the local Honda dealership with the intention of buying the 110. I had a 50cc in the past and thought the additional cc and extra storage would be perfect. I test drove both on a very windy day with some good size hills. The 110 was nice but I was really uncomfortable on the strai...

First oil change, what oil to use question
I was changing the oil this weekend and not sure what oil to use. The manual mentioned 10w30/10w40 but not energy saving and then it recommends 10w40 motorcycle oil. The only 10w03 non energy oil is the high mileage oil. What oil does everyone use hear? Thanks in advance ps. The oil drain plug is a ...
