My Forza returned today, after 12 days at the dealer being fixed.
Took her for a ride, it felt great. I hope this is the end of my technical issues.

I'm going to ask the dealer tomorrow about the replacement pump.

The problem with one customer approaching one dealer is the inherent lack of a "force in numbers" approach. The more voices speak up, the more likely we'll be heard. Isn't that the logic?

It would be even more annoying if the scooter was out of warranty. I agree! The dealer has decided to deliver the scooter back to me free of charge, as it should be, for a brand-new vehicle. Ian is my salesman too. Can't fault the guy, he works hard for his money. They're a very, very good dealer. So far.

Mine was idling for no longer than 20 seconds at most. I'd literally just started the engine, closed the seat, put my first glove on and it died. Then it would turn over, so that battery wasn't flat, but there was no 'whirr' of the fuel pump being primed when the ignition was switched on. The AA rec...

...and today, fuel pump failure.

It's two weeks old today. Not happy.

AA report 'fuel program fault", whatever that may mean....

It's being recovered to Chiswick Honda now. Not impressed.

My fuel pump failed about 25 minutes ago.

My bike is 2 weeks old today. Not happy.

Waiting for AA recovery now. (Honda Assist)

Cheers mate. Can I ask what made you get rid of your CB500? Which model did you have? X, F or RR?

My size L Shoei Neotec fits in both positions with no problems at all. In the forward position, it'll go visor-down or visor-up. It fits either way. In the rear position, it's got to be visor to the right.
