Re: Battery won't hold a charge, PCX 150 2013
That's very interesting, and less expensive than the stock battery I just ordered. I'm curious about charging it. I assume that it has charging characteristics similar to the stock lead acid battery in order to work with the scooter's recharging system, and therefore might be compatible with the ext...

Re: Battery won't hold a charge, PCX 150 2013
Thanks for your advice. I've ordered the Yuasa and will see how it works. I'll need a good battery anyway, and if it doesn't work out I'll take the next steps in the trouble shooting.

Battery won't hold a charge, PCX 150 2013
Hi all, my 2013 PCX 150 battery won't hold a charge. I replaced the stock battery, which wouldn't hold a charge, with a cheap after market one and the cheapie also won't hold a charge. This wasn't a problem last season. I've thought of buying a new stock battery...also I have an extended warranty an...

Re: No toolkit supplied with 2105 PCX150??
The "toolkit" for the 2013 is just the helmet strap and a little screwdriver that works as flat head or philips. $2 item. You're not missing much :D Hi, I picked up my new PCX150 last week and discovered that there were no tools in the toolkit pouch - only the helmet strap. The dealer said...

Re: 2013 Performance
Why do you think Honda made the compromises it did on the 2013 PCX? Fuel economy maybe?
I don't particularly want a higher max speed, as the bike feels light and a little wobbly to me much over 55 mph. But I'd welcome better acceleration at the low end.

Re: Got Gas?
I'm tempted by this gas container. SECoda, why don't you put more than 5 gallons in? Weight? Thanks for your report on how well it works. At $20 it would be an impulse buy... OK - I always top off my tank after every ride and have used my new No-Spill 5 gal can (I never put more than 3 gallons in it...

Re: Does more money = a better helmet?
Looks great, just what I need! Thanks, SECoda. I put Cycle Care Formula 33 on everything. It's one of those all-in-one and safe for windshields, shields, plastic, paint, chrome, etc. that doesn't streak. I use it to remove bugs from my windshield and helmet shields as well. I have another rain produ...

Re: Does more money = a better helmet?
Thanks, Patrik0037. My difficulty is not so much with fit or appearance, but with safety- hard to assess that by trying them on. Ever hear the phrase opinions are like a$$holes? Try on some different helmets see what you like and what you don't then decide, that is truly the only way to find a good ...

Does more money = a better helmet?
Hi PCXers! I'm using an inexpensive modular helmet with full face coverage (Hawk FS-901), DOT approved. It's comfortable enough and I'm used to it. My question is whether I should invest more money in a "better" helmet. How would I know that a more expensive one is actually better? Are the...

Re: Life saving tip
Looking forward to hearing more, homie. Re extensions, I have two that came with my Givi windscreen that I'm not using, yours for the asking. They aren't huge but might help. It took me awhile to get my mirrors right, but now I can see behind my shoulders. How are those fisheyes working out for you?...

Re: Life saving tip
How are those fisheyes working out for you? I've got a couple of that size for my truck that I've never mounted and have thought of putting them on the scooter. [ quote="homie"]This might be a life saving tip. Added my second accessory - fish eye mirrors. The first being a charger for my p...

Re: Health benefits of riding
Similar experience here, including my butt adjusting to longer rides. I too don't ride much at night--too much wildlife on the roads around here: deer, turkeys, foxes and recently bears :o I've noticed my scooter is very sensitive to wind when I get up over 60 mph. Other than that she's very stable....
