Re: New Forza
I started with that one, however I ended up using a different post in which the guy worked from the top down instead of the bottom up. It worked very quickly and easily.

Re: New Forza
Normally, it sits up over my nose. It's supposed to guide your breath down and away from the shield I think. I was tilting my head back so I could see the camera with my reading glasses (which I don't wear while riding).

Re: New Forza
An interesting side note: I realize I've really only had one day of riding on it, not counting bringing it home from the dealer. But while I have the capability of going reasonably fast, I haven't. I've been in no hurry to really crank it up. In part, I need to get used to riding a BIG scooter, but ...

Re: New Forza
Well the Vespa is gone. I miss it already. It's truly hard not to miss something with that much personality. But we move on. Got to do a little riding today... Not as much as I wanted to do, but it was enough. This thing is smooth! And in places where the Vespa would be squirrelly, such as metal gra...

Re: New Forza
What's the torque number for putting it back on? And I did manage to squeeze my helmet (scorpion EXO ??? XL flip-up) under the seat, but it took some work.

Re: New Forza
I will say it was wonderful riding home from the dealer. Only issues were the rear shocks feel like cement... Got to figure out the adjustment thing... I weigh 180lbs, hints on a starting point? And my jeans kept riding up in a bad place .

I wear a pair of Red Wings on the scoot. Good for all day if I want, and I'm a running shoe kind of person. I will throw a pair of running shoes in the scoot depending on my mood though.

Re: Gloves - are they all hideous to use?
Here's a slightly different take on the issue... I used to two finger brake all the time. This led to a whopping nasty case of tennis elbow in both arms. Couldn't ride for two months. If traffic looks dicey now, I'll cover the brakes with two fingers, but will get all four on the levers if I need to...

We're selling it to a friend, so we'll see it regularily... Still sad though. And the Mrs has her bubble gum pink buddy upgraded to a 70 to ride still. So now she has to try and keep up with me

Re: Just pulled the trigger
Big Congrats I got nowhere trying to negotiate with my local dealer. So...looked in the online ads for used ones. Found one across the state with just 240 miles on it. The dealer was great. Nice price and took care of ALL the details. Even transport. I paid $170 to have someone they worked with tra...
