Re: honda motorcycle valve question
Initially there wasn't a 600 mile check but this was introduced after a number of problems. There were modifications to the cylinder head and the requirement went away. There is something in common with the CB500 head issue, the Forza leaky waterpump seals and the substandard PCX centrestand mounts...

Re: How fast to your valve cover?
On the honda sh 150 all you have to do is take two Philips screws out to get the plastic cover off and then your looking at the valve cover less then two minutes. Don Yep, that's what I found on the Sh150! Really easy to access the valve cover and the battery box too, the only downside to adjusting...

Re: Best Cover for Forza, with Windscreen, size
I use an extra large (touring bike size) Bilt cover. This is the Cycle Gear brand and I have found these quite good (comparable to the much more expensive brands). I remove the Honda top case when I park the bike and replace this with a plastic milk crate that I bungee on temporally whist the bike c...

Re: How fast to your valve cover?
Awesome design! If all scooters/motorcycles were that way.... Just goes to show you that they can be designed to be maintence friendly if the manufacturers were to get outta our pockets....

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
Dink99: you can also try boots that go above your ankle. Those help a lot when it's really cold. You can always take them off when you get to work if you don't want to wear them there. I have added the Honda top case to mine and with it I have an incredible amount of storage capacity. I can go shopp...

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
Dink99: you can try a couple of things here...first make sure all the lower straps are tight. This may pull the cover down a bit tighter. Also, put the bib strap on. This causes the center of the cover to lift slightly helping to reduce the wind coming underneath. I have found that by placing you fe...

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
Well, having ridden with the Tucano Urbano leg cover for a few weeks now, I appears to be holding up well. It's plenty warm for the cooler weather I've encountered around here so far, I'll know more when it gets colder. Only two downsides: it tends to flap (oscillate) a bit above 55-60 mph and is ki...

Re: Givi Airflow vs Honda Tall Windshield
Got the GIVI D1123ST in last Friday (ordered from http://www.sporttour.com on Tuesday!). It was pretty easy to instal, mainly due to reading the blog at http://www.myhondaforza.com/ . Anyway... LOVE this screen. I'm 5'11" and I can easily see over the top but can see where I could crouch down ...

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
What is the best way to keep your hands warm in the winter? Large handguards and heated grips. Anyone got a link to handguards that fit the PCX - the handle bar area seems so cramped with not that much space to mount things. I was considering a new screen with the lower hand covers and not too tall...

Re: 600 mile service question
I too rolled past 600 miles last week, so I need an oil change. I called my dealer and was quoted $65. I have the tools and materials (torque wrench, filter wrench, oil collection pan and instructions), so I think that I'll do it myself. I did it on my Zuma and my Harley with no issues. The local H...

Re: 600 mile service question
Well, I just went ahead a took it to the shop. The cost was $116 dollars....kinda pricy for what amounts to an oil change but what can you do??? At least the warranty is still good. Well, I guess the price wasn't too bad considering $116 dollars is equivalent to about 28 pence now   Serio...

600 mile service question
Hi everyone, My 600 mile service is coming up soon. Is this something that I have to take to dealer to do or will it be ok to do it myself? I change my own fluids usually anyhow and I have the service manual for the Forza. My thinking is that the dealer may not really check/adjust the valves but may...

Re: Windshield Question New Member!
The Givi is quite a bit taller than the Honda Tall windshield. I would say about 3 inches taller with the upper windscreen fully extended. Much better wind protection IMHO.

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
You're right it is a great product! I adjusted mine a bit and put a little more air in the bladders and it seems to be working better. A bit less oscillating at speed now.

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
The ignition switch is easy to get to on mine. Maybe they changed the design somewhat. The parking brake lever is another matter entirely though. I need to try and post some pics.DAB wrote:Used mine throughout last winter. Only difficulty I had was to find the ignition switch in the dark.

Re: Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
Guys, I also got a set of Tucano Urbano handle bar muffs with the leg cover so I will be reviewing those as well as soon as I get the chance to install them. They do look warm and toasty with fur at the top. Waterproof too!!!

Tucano Urbano Leg Cover Review (initial impressions)
Ok everyone, I'm back with another review. This time I will be reviewing the Termoscud (leg cover) by Tucano Urbano. As hard as it is is to believe, winter is approaching and we will soon have to decide whether we will pack it up for the winter or try to brave the elements. That's where the Termoscu...
