Re: Saving up for that BBK
It's a 2013, KF12. Webike has the kit for this model, not sure why no one else has done it before me.

Saving up for that BBK
So I am going to take the plunge. I have already every drivetrain mod known to man. But I want that little bit of extra punch and a better cruising top speed for long journeys. Instead of occasionally touching 75-80mph I want to more often be able to hit those speeds in the event that I need to. So ...

Re: Takegawa FICon2
I am definitely running lean with my setup, plug is white. I don't need much more fuel, but I also don't want it to run too hot.

Re: Takegawa FICon2
Honestly, I do not know the individual settings. There is more than one FICon controller for our bikes depending on the year and model. I think #5 is for the hot cam and exhaust, then B-E are for the BBK with/without cam, exhaust etc. These are the settings, if anyone can decipher Japanese

Takegawa FICon2
Ok, so I have been working closely with another forum member on installing one of these. Thanks to his help, the job was an easy one. Now I am having trouble dialing the device. The bike will only start when the map is set to #5, B, C, D, and E. I can get it to chug a little when it is set on 6, but...

Re: big bore kit
Not sure what many are talking about. PCX is fine at extended highway speeds, even when dealing with mid to strong winds. If you're veering or wobbling you might want to check your alignment.

Some combinations appear to be lethal. I have had good luck with the Kitaco torque driver.

Re: 2015 PCX 150 top speed
Went on about a 260 mile ride yesterday on my unmodified 2015 pcx 150. On the way there (Spanish Fort, TX), I took mostly secondary highways, got lost a couple times, stopped for lunch etc. However by the time I got there it was already after 3pm and the grandkids baseball game was at least 2 hours...

Cool, thanks for the step by step. Looking forward to the install...well, the results part anyway. Hate removing panels on the PCX.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Wiring, and the easiest way to go about it. Hoping there is a "shortcut" instead of having to remove each and every body panel. Especially since there is more than one setting possible, it should be easy to get to.

Re: How to install - Yuminashi 2015 variator kit
Very easy to do, and can be done without removing any of the body panels. Remove the crankcase cover bolts, there's 8 or 10 of them. The variator is directly beneath and is held in place by a single large nut that is best removed with an impact wrench. Once you get the nut off, the rest is a cake wa...

Re: Takegawa Cam
I just want to be able to hit 80mph without bumping up displacement. I know the bike is capable of it with the proper mods. I'm nearly there. Again, is that 80 mph actual speed you're expecting? Flats or downhill? I can get about 75 mph while going downhill, though admittedly Hawaii doesn't have th...

Ridiculous the size of your license plates. So many restrictions.
