I order most of my parts from Bikerzbits, and have had problems with the site, so I just email Emmett thru the site once I have created an saved order and he processes it thru the back office using email communication.
He is just awesome to work with.

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
One other approach to take could be: Drain the oil, re fill with 800ml do not start the engine, let it sit for a while, perhaps an hour or more to ensure all the oil has drained to the bottom of the engine after re filling. Check the oil level, if it reads high like before, you then know the dipstic...

Mankind created Google hence we are smarter.
If it starts and runs fine, I personally would not stress about it. Thats just what I would do.

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
I can’t say much about a sniff test. But if the bike is starting and running fine, I would not worry about it.
If fuel were getting into the oil, then logic tells me the bike would be starting and running poorly.
Thats what happened when the an injector went bad in my gravel truck.

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
Very strange. So I went to the workshop to get the old oil drained out and put in new fresh engine oil. I told the mechanic to put in 800 mls, which he did. After which, I went for a ride for about 20 kms then stopped for a break. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I took out the dipstick to check...

If bacon fat and cooking oil are good lubricants, why does it plug our arteries?

Re: Storage Box acts like a parachute......
update..... so to my complete surprise, the bike is perfectly balanced from the factory. meaning any additions, even simply a tail rack, Will cause enough weight imbalance to lift up the front and cause the tank slap at any speed. some one told me honda made it this way on purpose to force you to k...

Took the scenic route home after work. Beautiful day, too nice to be working. Pictures are of the Nanaimo harbour from an old site of what once was the Nanaimo hospital, which became a home for the elderly. It was demolished a number of years back and now sits. The islands in the horizon are Newcast...

Re: What do I need to fit a generic top case on my 2015 PCX?
I would suggest a factory rack for your year of PCX. Once that is installed, you will be able to bolt on the mount that came with the case assuming it is flat. You will have to line up the mount where you want the box to sit and drill holes in the rack to bolt it on. Be mindful that the box is far e...

Re: Does your parking brake work? Mine doesn't.
I simply don’t use mine at all. Forgot it was on one two many times. Last time I drove 35km to a local town, my drum was so hot I could have fried bacon and eggs. Fortunately I did not damage anything.
That being said I am just cautious when parking and usually put her on the center stand.

Re: water cooling on PCX150
That is a nice bit of info you shared. Thanks. There has been two times in the past year where I noticed a dime sized spot of coolant on the floor. Made me scratch my head. It makes sense now. Something to keep an eye on.

Re: Liberty150 on the road...
A few years ago I had a chance to buy a 2010 Honda SH 150 it had the big wheels. It had just over 2000km on it at 2500.00. I passed cause I was scared to spend the money. Now I regret that I did not get it. Especially since there is nothing available in Canada but the Honda ruckus now.

Got out for a little ride to Campbell River. A bit wet, but good gear makes all the difference. Pictures are of a large beach in Comox. Next time I have to bring my real camera. So many eagles, just could not capture one with the iPhone. Rode 396km today, now at 60986km.

Just can’t beat the traditional milk crate.
I have tried several different top boxes and I just keep going back to my milk crate. Mounted a quick release plate to attach the white hard case I made to the milk crate and bolt the toe of the case to the passenger foot peg. Made a varnished top for the milk crate Made a custom base for the sea b ...
