Where to get tires mounted?
I know, I know... the Honda place, right? Apparently not if you didn't buy the tire from them. (shrug) Honda wouldn't order the City Grips for me (since it wasn't standard size), so although I never got to that part when I took it in, I'm sure that would have just been another wrinkle with them doin...

Re: How to remove the rear wheel in 6 minutes (video)
So the axle nut needs a 24mm? Dangit... My set only goes to 18mm. Whelp... Another trip to Home Depot (after needing to get a screw extractor). Great vid! Had a flat and figured taking the wheel to my dealer might be easier than arranging getting the whole scooter there. Plus i want to learn how to ...

Re: Recall on 2014 FORZA
Got my recall notice yesterday... With the last one, they did it and the initial servicing without problems (that I know of). So I guess I'll be getting an oil change again this time as well. If they break any panels, I hope it's the ones on the right side where I scuffed it on some loose gravel whe...

Mine's like that as well... I'm about to just find an appropriately sized stick.

Re: Muffs
I bought something like these http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mGydGCx523MajegvVnJHBNQ.jpg off ebay. They do work, but while I feel they don't interfere with the brakes when on, they do seem to make it very inconvenient to hit the bright lights (which is when I need them for my ride into work)...

Re: How do you fit the Honda taller screen?
When I put on my taller screen, I looked at this website: http://www.myhondaforza.com/. It helped a great deal. Just scroll down until you see the "Installing the Optional Taller Windscreen on a Forza 300" part...

Re: Might Have to Say "Goodbye" to My Buddy
Congratz on your new PCX! I had a very similar decision a little over a year ago when I was looking at either the PCX or the Forza. My singular goal was to get a bike that would get me to and from work (about 35 miles round trip). No highways on the way, but a couple places that the speed limit is 5...

Re: Unspoken Law of "The Nod"
It's been a mixed bag around here (Chattanooga area). At first, it was pretty cool to get the low two finger wave (does anyone else think that could sound dirty?), but the first guy that did it probably think I was stuck up since it took me by surprise and I didn't react quickly enough. So for a whi...

^^^ That's exactly the website instructions I used when changing out the stock Honda screen to my Givi tall. No problems whatsoever.

Re: Fuel gauge in the red
That's exactly what I've been doing, too. I get around 68mpg, so I fill up around the 180 mile mark on my trip meter. I did sorta freak out that very first time when I was cruising along with an "empty" tank according to the fuel gauge.

I average 68mpg on the Forza and fill up at the 180 mile mark. Been riding for about a year and roughly average 100 miles/week. Love it.

Re: New speaker
Tried it this morning. It works fine (picks up radio well), but I probably won't bother using this for the scooter. Once I get moving, the wind noise and shield down on the helmet makes it impossible to hear it. For those that have the larger windshield and can duck under it to avoid the wind, it's ...

Thanks for the find... I haven't been overly compelled to figure out a way to play music while riding, but for that price? Yeah... it's worth trying.

Re: Hello! Forza 300 Quirks
I regularly get around 68 mpg, so yeah... the first time I looked down and saw the gauge at empty, I panicked a little. Now, knowing I get ~68 mpg, I go for ~180 miles before filling up. BTW, the Givi longer windshield helped me some with wind "push" when getting some speed, but not crossw...

Sure does... Yeah, sad...
That's normally the time I'm riding in to work, so potentially dealing with stray possums or even deer is a very real concern. I can't even imagine hitting a person. Man... Tragic indeed.
