Re: This looks interesting. Anyone tried it?
I saw that one. I was mainly interested in the first one due to the integrated flasher. However, looking at the specs, I think the brightness would leave a lot to be desired. Also, the one you pointed out has a wider angle of light emission. The one I linked would probably suck as a tail light...poo...

Skene Design P3 Lights installed
Installed the Skene P3TS lights to the PCX today. The wiring diagram below was very helpful, thank you for posting it. I disconnected the turn signal function because I didn't like how it looked, but left the connections in the wiring in case I want to enable them down the road. The lights flicker e...

I have a set of these sitting on the shelf that I bought for my BMW a while back and haven't installed yet. Might be of interest to you.

Re: How-To: Install a Trunk
Thank you for the rack DIY. Very helpful. I took a slightly different route for the holes, in case it helps anyone. I didn't have a 7/8" drill bit. Some calculating showed that 3/4" is also very close to 20mm. I used a Dremel tool with a small sanding drum to fine tune the holes a tiny bit...

I'd say normal. Put some more miles on it, see if it changes.

Re: 125 Standard exhaust question.
Feel free to correct me if I'm off base here, anyone. But it's my impression that the cat itself adds very little restriction to the exhaust. Most cats are an open honeycomb matrix design where gases can flow right through. The pipe size and baffling for noise control would add far more than the cat...

Re: Pcx150 with a ticking sound
Ok, so it's something inside the engine, probably, since the frequency of the ticking matches engine RPM. Could be something else, but probably a moving part internally. That's not encouraging. I would not ride it. First thing I would do would be to drain the oil and cast a critical eye on it. Any m...

I like your goodies, neighbor. I also appreciate that you have a red PCX, like mine, so your bike becomes a virtual test bed for accessories on mine.
Thanks for posting. Cool bits you have there from Thailand.

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
What does OTD mean to our PCX fan club and members? State and local taxes vary too much from place to place. Hence, in my opinion, including sales tax in an OTD number makes the OTD number far less useful for people in locations other than their own. The best baseline for what a competitive price w...

Two questions from PCX novice...
1. The rear wheel and tire seem to get really hot. When I parked the scooter today, I noticed this. The rear tire was pretty toasty. This kind of makes sense, since the engine is right there, but seemed odd to me compared to other bikes I've owned. Then again, they don't have the wheel and engine an...

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
Extended warranties are real simple to understand. Ficitional example scenario: $500 retail cost to customer $350 wholesale cost to dealer dealer profit per policy = $150 So here is the deal from the provider's perspective. The dealer already made their cut... The underwriter of the warranty is sell...

Yes, this is really odd with the price of body panels being so low here. Typically, prices for such things are much higher.

Re: What is a good price for 2015 Honda PCX 150?
I recently bought a new 2013, as did my dad on the same day. I was offered a 2015 for $3900 out the door. White. I bought my '13 for $2900 out the door. I was picky on color and did not want black, which was stupid on my part. If I would have been willing to accept black, I could have bought mine fo...

Looks sharp, and also like it's a lot of weight saved vs. stock. I'm eager to hear how you like it and if you think you get any performance boost out of it.
