Thank you for the rack DIY. Very helpful. I took a slightly different route for the holes, in case it helps anyone. I didn't have a 7/8" drill bit. Some calculating showed that 3/4" is also very close to 20mm. I used a Dremel tool with a small sanding drum to fine tune the holes a tiny bit...

I'd say normal. Put some more miles on it, see if it changes.
