Re: I'm back with a Forza

Welcome back! I love my Gen 1 Forza 300 but wish the Gen 2 was available in the US. Having had a month to get used to my Gen 2 Forza (only a 125 this time, though), I actually think the Gen 1 Forza (300) I had was more comfortable. It had a bit more legroom and the seat height felt a bit lower. Tha...

New Headlight cluster for old shape Forza 300 (2014)

Hi, Years ago, I bought a new headlight cluster for my 2014 Forza 300 at that time. I had just moved to Germany from the UK and rode my Forza to Munich with my son on the back. I was in the process of getting the bike registered in Germany as an import and in order to do so, I had ordered a new head...

Re: Phone Mounts

I've just mounted my sat nav on my new Forza 125, but prior to that, was looking for mounting suggestions on YouTube, etc. Everything I found seemed quite convoluted or required adding a lot of clutter. Anyway, I noticed there was an unused female thread in the centre of the handlebars, underneath t...

Re: Forza 125 reliability and cost of ownership

Having now bought that Forza 125, I'd still be keen to learn if anyone else knows of a source for better quality head bearings. I bought this scooter from Superbike Factory, and before I even asked, they volunteered replacing the head bearings before delivery as their own mechanics had identified th...

Re: Forza 125 reliability and cost of ownership

Wouldn't surprise me if they had been assembled without any grease, also they are extremely vulnerable to damage from hitting potholes. One big heavy hit and there's pits in the bearing races. Real cheap and nasty ball bearing crap, taper rollers are vastly superior but Honda are too stingy to fit ...

Re: heated grips

I realise this is an old thread, but I've felt much the same in the past about Oxford grips - positioning the switch for them can often be unsightly, compared to the OEM Honda grips which are beautifully integrated such that you wouldn't notice you had any heated grips. Well happy days! Oxford are n...

Re: Need help replacing the entire Headlight cluster

In order to make the UK spec Forza road legal in Germany, in order to be able to sell it at it's proper value, I have bought an EU spec headlight cluster (€500!!!) because the light needs to be thrown to the right hand side of the scooter, now that I'm driving on the left of the road, instead of th...

Re: Need help replacing the entire Headlight cluster

This help? The Front Cover page (6) tells you to remove the Lower Cover then the Center Cover then the Front Meter Panel and then the Floor Skirt. THEN you can remove the Front Cover which includes the headlight assembly. Wow! Yes! I think that's exactly what I was looking for. Where did you find t...

Re: Need help replacing the entire Headlight cluster

One of the cultural differences I've experienced in Germany is the seemingly higher value of 2nd hand vehicles across the board. In the UK, I might have thought twice about it, but in Germany, it's still worth around €2000 based on the other examples I've seen for sale on the websites. Obviously I t...

Need help replacing the entire Headlight cluster

Hello lovely people, It's been a good few years since I've been on this forum. You might remember me from such classic threads as HID/LED bulb replacement, etc. :D Since my last post, I have emigrated from the UK to Germany. I rode the Forza 300 with my son on the back, from London to Munich, 2 year...

Re: Arrow Reflex 2.0 Exhaust

Well it is on cars, I'm not sure for bikes/scooters, specifically - but I'd prefer to clean up my exhaust if possible. By the way, I emailed the ebay seller advertising the Giannelli G-4 and the full system as advertised for just a shade over £200 does NOT have a cat. Therefore, I deduce that with a...

Re: Arrow Reflex 2.0 Exhaust

On almost any of the links I've found for the G-4, it doesn't state whether or not the "full system" includes a cat, or if it's a "racing full system". It says road legal, which would imply a cat is present. There's no such ambiguity with the Arrow listings. Makes me suspicious a...

Re: Arrow Reflex 2.0 Exhaust

Thanks DioTiAma - I'll look into that Akrapovic configuration to get an idea of the cost of that option. gn2- yes I'd also noticed the Giannelli G-4 on eBay, which, as a full system is definitely cheaper than the Arrow Reflex 2.0 with catalytic converter. Does anyone on this forum have a G-4 install...

Re: Arrow Reflex 2.0 Exhaust

It's not the drain hole, gn2. It has sounded loud and parpy for a couple of months now (not that it bothers me - it sounds almost like an aftermarket exhaust now), but I've just had it back from the Honda dealer after the rear brake recall thing, and they confirmed it when handing over the keys. It'...

Re: Arrow Reflex 2.0 Exhaust

Does the catalytic converter generate heat in a way that causes problems? I'm also wondering if the catalytic converter is in the end can of the stock OEM exhaust... cos it doesn't look like it's in the manifold tube, like it is in on the Arrow system. My stock exhaust has developed a hole in it, so...

Re: Headlight Upgrades

LEDs still going strong, four months later. Scooter gets almost daily use in all weathers. No regrets. I still haven't located that beam height adjustment screw yet, even after checking the manual and looking up under the fairing. Why can't I see it? Need to get an eye test, next.

Re: Forza 300 Shocking Goodies

Great stuff, Mario. I wonder, for the perfect front-end set up, would you consider progressive springs, or do you think that the PD valve and different oil are enough?

Re: Opinions on Tyres for the Forza

I've put Michelin City Grips on both front and rear, now. Having eaten through 3 rear dunlops and 1 front dunlop at 16000 miles, I'm want to see if the Michelins can outlive the Dunlops. I can't yet report any noticeable improvement on grip until I've scrubbed them in, but running a quick errand thi...
