Re: PCX Body Parts?
I apologize due to delays in response. I've been working late a lot lately. I'm in the process of trying to buy my first house. :D I fell in the rain onto the road a few months ago. I damaged the left side pretty well. Multiple cracks in all the panels including the variator cover. I even bent the c...

Re: PCX Body Parts?
Panels seemed OEM to me. I had to replace a few of them from my spill off the PCX a few months back. Heck, the dealership where I got my used Silverwing a couple weeks back uses PowersportsPlus. But sadly, they don't provide any manuals, and they are prone to backlogging from Honda. When it comes to...

Re: my pcx125...up for sale
Hooray! The misses does not want the PCX sold. In fact she will utilize the PCX as the primary means of transportation. If the car is not driven frequently, then the gas savings will allow the PCX to essentially pay for itself. She realized this the hard way when attempting to ride the Silverwing to...

Re: my pcx125...up for sale
Just got it insured about 5 minutes ago as required by my lender. I will probably take the Silverwing on its maiden voyage tomorrow. :D Also, if the PCX doesn't sell then I will make sure the car (also a Honda) is inactive as much as possible to save a lot of gas and therefore recoup some of the cos...

Re: my pcx125...up for sale
Here is my new (used) 2004 Silverwing! It just arrived about 20 minutes ao as of the typing of this thread. It will be difficult selling the PCX as they both look like big and little brother.

From here.
http://www.powersportsplus.com/
They have the lowest priced OEM parts for the PCX I've ever seen.

my pcx125...
Here is my PCX, complete with new replacement panels from my spill a few months ago. I've got it up for sale as I'm getting the '04 Silverwing. :D I'm selling because I can't afford 2 bike payments. But at least I will have these pictures to remember my "little engine that could." :( Edit:...

Re: Newby.. pcx tuning tips
Over $400 in mods for a couple miles an hour top speed gain. It's up to you to do what you want. I wouldn't re-do that decision again, as the performance increase did not match the price/value. If you need more power, there should be gently used pre-owned bigger bikes readily available in many areas...

Re: First Ride With Givi Windscreen ?
I wish I got the shorter screen because my wife constantly gripes about the tall screen that we have and it being difficult to see due to our height being the same as the windscreen. We are both 5' 7". So I removed it and so far it is up for sale on Craigslist due to it being cost prohibitive t...

Re: Newby.. pcx tuning tips
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68tWyjJbHEE Check this video out regarding J. Costa variator. My belt wear caused my top speed to drop to about 57mph. The variator does work, but just a little bit. Truth be told, I've even gone up to 65mph but speed gains are inconsistent, going anywhere from 60 - 65...

Can't find any info on 2013 SH150i on search engines. I most likely wouldn't buy it but I am curious to read more and see pics.

Re: New ride -- Honda Silverwing
I mean crappy as in interest rate. My credit union will pretty much take any refi request (but not initial financing request...it is an 04 afterall) I send to them. I just need to let the initial bank think they are going to make money on me, and then thoroughly disappoint them a few months later.

Re: New ride -- Honda Silverwing
Just found a 2004 Silverwing here in Tampa today from a dealer. Price is only $3000 plus taxes and fees. I made an offer. Gonna find out Monday if I'm approved for crappy financing (which I, in turn, will refi 6 months later).

Re: Honda SH150i
Today, I test rode a used SH150i and I felt the bike was too much money at $2599 and $2999 respectively, had uncomfotable seating, and awkward steering/handling with the tiny size of the handlebars.

Re: Hello, new member.
I've learned my lesson about the extended warranty. For Honda and the dealership an extended warranty purchase is like free money to them. I ride my PCX 125 rather harshly due to many highways here in Tampa. So far the only problem I had was the ignition switch issue and that certainly wasn't $350 w...
