I think that with the profit margin being so small on a scooter the the increased servicing regime benefits the dealer by boosting their turnover/income. I lived in a state filled with motorcycles, mostly Harley's. I like the loud "noise" but not on one or too near to one. I Always smile when I see and hear them, and in a pack they're awesome. So yeah, I like the noise. I miss it now :| I can't stand the sound of Harleys, and always wonder...

a right big headed arsehole at work sat on his aprilia rs125 revving the shit off it laughing at me on my 50cc scooter and tried to shoot off with his disclock still on! i had tears filling up my helmet as a crawled past him! shame i couldnt rev the scooter with the exhaust in his face!

Service every 6 months!!! That's bollocks isn't it? And you don't have to get it serviced at a honda dealer to maintain the warranty, the law was changed to stop people being ripped off.

i convinced getting a scooter would save me money commuting to work. It doesnt! i had to buy it, insure it, tax it, maintain it etc and i have kept my car! I got it because i love riding :)

Just had a call off the girlfriends dad, he's going to meet up with a few mates on their scooters he's got an Aprilia Atlantic 200cc, I'm going on my S-Wing, there's going to be a few lambrettas, an xmax 125, a couple of PCX's, a bergman and apparently a Kymco Downtown 125.
