Re: New Hybrid Honda PCX coming?
Imagine a different situation. A tornado strikes, and you have your partially charged electic car. Let's assume it is down to 25% and also assume that it equals in battery capacity with the smallest Tesla, which is 70kWh. Also take into account, that you might have a transformation loss of 10% when...

Re: New Hybrid Honda PCX coming?
according to the last figure I saw, only 2.8% of the world's energy production comes from renewable sources We do a bit better here in Scotland. "Renewables experts say this means wind generated the equivalent of 57 per cent of Scotland’s entire electricity needs." Source: http://www.inde...

Re: New Hybrid Honda PCX coming?
Huh, poor little Hybrid PCX opened up a big can of worms While I agree with many of the points I'd add a few things, as I believe I see a few things from a different prospective. I have to say here that I'm quite biased, as we're currently building 2MWp capacity Photovoltaic power plant with two fr...

What add-on for Chrome did you find that can unlock unpaid photobucket images please My guess is "none". There is an add-on for phpBB though that backs up linked images and automatically re-inserts them if the original disappears (we used to use it when I was the admin at the Cambridge in...

Re: Winter storage
Maybe its time to let go of our parents and grand parents phobias and rest assure new materials, science and technology has got our backs. Reminds me of the story of the leg of lamb; Hubby observed that his wife always used to cut a certain piece off before putting it in the roasting dish - when he...

This might be too much for the political police in here but its more about our beloved American pass time sports. We will see the end of this take a knee BS shortly as you can win money in Vegas tonight betting against protesting teams depending on those teams trying to switch their brains from soc...

Has it spread to the actual handle bar itself, or is it just the clamp? (I can't tell from the photo - I can't be sure that I'm not just looking at a reflection in the chrome).

BTW bacon causes cancer. Breathing air is fatal. Everyone who has ever died breathed air before they snuffed it. No-one gets out alive, might as well have a bacon butty and a mug of tea, relax and enjoy it while you can. And if the bacon and air doesn't get us the extreme levels of Dihydroge...

My 2015 Honda PCX 150 (K-18) ran 62-63mph on the rev limiter before the NCY variator change. I replaced it with the variator- face-13g rollers and saw the increase up to 70mph (speedometer) 73mph (GPS). I then installed the GIVI short windscreen and Leo Vince exhaust and she moved on up to 73mph (s...

I'd roll it around a bit occasionally. It's not good for tyres to be sitting with one section in contact with the ground for long periods of time. I think it's almost a given that it should be put on the center stand. Yeah, but that still leaves the front. Only a tiny fraction of the original weigh...

I was fascinated by by flying ever since I've read "The night flight" from Antoine de Saint-Exupery, about age of 8. I only had a chance to start flying a lot later, I guess I was about 32 when started training on a Yak52. That bird is a blast. Nowadays I only fly very seldomly some Piper...

That said, fossil fuels will not last forever so changes have to come. The numbers show that that point is still about 49 years away though; that's based on existing known oil reserves and current rate of consumption - and it's incredibly unlikely that the world won't discover new oil reserves. Man...

Well I had your same opinion about this untill I have red Guggio (the owner of the 130K km on the Pcx) on another PCx forum that with his years of experience driving his PCx hi has adviced me this slight change... I hope to be able to translate this properly, basically an appropiate setting of this...

I am surprised at how little the riders wear who have those 50cc scooters. I saw one yesterday that had a bicycle helmet on! I would not want to be the test dummy for those helmets if they were in a crash. Most of those type riders also only wear shorts and a tee shirt. Forget gloves. Those are not...

Ya know it's funny you mention those. I was thinking of something similar. In the RC hobby world you can by similar batteries for about the same price you mentioned($15-20). They don't give CCA ratings though so it makes me wonder if they are up to the job. My medium size Align T-Rex 550 Pro DFC (a...
