Re: My New Honda PCX 125cc
I guess I am looking at it from the perspective that most riders who have a 2013 model have done most of the upgrades themselves that they had asked Honda to do, except for LED lights and ABS brakes. You forgot the fuel tank upgrade. Maybe also the convenience of a 12V cigarette receptacle. From th...

Re: My New Honda PCX 125cc
About the only things that are REALLY new on the PCX are the LED lights and the ABS brake in front. Be happy just to have a PCX. They are amazing little bikes...and all of them will eventually be "Last Year's Model", so just enjoy what you have when you have it. :-) nAUkchi6uMU I would li...

Re: My New Honda PCX 125cc
The L-Plate rule in the UK is a typical fudge (probably suggested by car lobbyists) and puts riders at risk because many drivers instinctively seek to get out ahead of 'beginners'. You could be driving cars all your life, pass your CBT (one-day) <125cc training, but you STILL have to wear the plate...

Re: My New Honda PCX 125cc
im guessing the state makes you have that big L on your wind screen It's got to be visible and not obscured so might get away with front mud guard. You might be better with one of those fork mounted L Plates that you see on amazon etc. Am ok with the way it is, it's not really worried me, even when...

Re: My New Honda PCX 125cc
When I bought my wife's PCX back in 2012 (it is considered a 2013 year model) the dealer didn't have red on the showroom floor. My wife told the sales person that if they had it in red she would buy it. They were unloading a truck in the back, and there was only 1 PCX on it. Since it was in a crate...

That was were the dealer put it, but that the same place I had it on my old pcx, I actually don't know the answer to that question I never thought about it.big bear wrote:im guessing the state makes you have that big L on your wind screen

Re: Not going out in the rain anymore on my PCX.
Crashed old bike in the wet - then nearly over a bank with the new ? Living in the U.K. - seems you night get caught out in the wet on any given ride. Can't be much fun on two wheels for you....and you're correct - there aren't any magic tires which will overcome sketchy habbits. So, maybe time for...

Re: Not going out in the rain anymore on my PCX.
... I went out in the rain today and nearly pooed my pants. The crash has really turned me into a buddle of nerves in the rain. And I would take my old PCX out in anything a part from snow. I want to get winter tyres but a mate of mine said he paid 200 for his on his CBR and said it was a waste of ...

Re: Not going out in the rain anymore on my PCX.
Agreed. This is why I don't ride in the rain - LOL. At least Marquez has the championship trophy to ease his pain after his nasty spill at Valencia yesterday. pp1o39owIY8 Seriously though, I always check the forecast in the morning and if there's a decent chance of rain I always choose the cage. Fa...

Not going out in the rain anymore on my PCX.
As some of you might know I recently bought a brand new Hond pcx 125cc the new model with the ABS. I crashed my old 2014 plate and wrote it off. The value of the repairs was more than the bike was worth and just because of how much money it has cost me to put on the road I just can't afford to skid ...

Re: CBT completed
Congrats! Best advice is not bothering with dealer servicing, well not after the 1st 6 month check and doing it yourself and saving £1000 in dealer charges over 2 years. You take a risk, but if you use Honda parts and a major thing such as a fuel pump, battery or engine issue raises it's head, your...

Re: My New Honda PCX 125cc
Very nice! Looks great in red - all we get in USA is "bright bronze metallic". Is yours a 125 or 150? It only a 125 as that's all were aloud to ride on l's in the uk Their were only grey and white ones in the show room left but I asked for red. Luckily they were having a delivery the next...
