Re: Valve check every 5,000 miles??
My view is that it is all to generate revenue as you said. If the scoot runs well and the fuel consumption is still good, then the valves do not need adjusting. I just had my scoot serviced and the Honda dealer wanted to charge £150 because the valves needed checking. Went to another bike shop and t...

Re: Dip stick engine oil probem.
I agree with gn2, a sight glass is far better and easier to check the oil level, the dip stick on the PCX is very difficult to check the level

I always get 48-50 miles before the gauge starts moving, when there are five bars left I have done 100 miles and I can do a further 40 to 50 miles before filling up

Re: Anyone got a Caberg Duke Helmet? Does it fit?
A normal large fullface helmet only just fits under the seat of the PCX Hi, Does a Caburg Duke size L fit in the underseat storage? Its a modular flip up helmet. I got the helmet Saturday and am looking for a PCX. If it doesn't fit then I probably need to factor a top box into my budget/haggling. ;)...

Re: Tapping valves after doing clearances...
I agree,if your fuel consumption doesn't get worse and performance is still OK,leave the valves alone,if it aint broke leave it alone When I took delivery of my PCX, my Honda dealer was quite laid back about valve adjustments. He said unless I'm having problems, don't mess with the valves. BTW, this...
