Re: FOBO Tire Pressure Monitoring System
I’ve never gotten two years out of it . I change my batteries about nine months and not worry about it. I had one go out at one year so that’s why I started changing them at nine months.

If you’re going to come on and discuss a product please put a link. Here’s the one that I’ve been using for the past three years , it’s been flawless.

What you want is CRC-656....a penetrant and elec contact spray...made for electrical switches.....kills/eats corrosion. Spray your key hole as well , if you have one.

You are completely wasting your money for any octane above regular octane of 87 or so. Whatever is regular in your town, use that.

10w 40 is fine....Unless you are in a super cold climate like Canada, then I will use 10 W 30.

Re: Stop Start function oddity?
All these start stop systems look for a battery that is low. On BMWs, anything less than a resting rate of 12.0 shuts off the start stop system.

Go to the 13, 12 is going to get you more acceleration and less top end. 13 seems to be the sweet spot for the 150s.

Re: Mirror Won’t Tighten?
You are correct in that the collar can be adjusted so that it tightens once you get a few threads into the hole, the collar may be a reverse thread, meaning to loosen you’d go clockwise .....put a pair of vise grips on it and try that before you start using using products in the hole like JB Weld.

Re: gear oil
You can use whatever you want in the back end of this bike. There’s no combustion to dirty it up, no hi temp, and you’re putting all of 13.5 hp through the gears. I used mobile 1, and after a year it comes out looking exactly like it did when it went in.

If ohlins are that cheap over there, go for it, over here in the US , they are 4x what the YSS cost.

If I was going to ride 2cup with luggage over long distance, I might spring for the Ohlins, but other than that, the YSS upgrades will work fine and be a lot cheaper.

Personally I think it’s foolish and selfish, even if you’re “younger”, do you really want to your conscience that you somehow transmitted it to an older person and they had problems?

We’re having good luck down in Florida, our state government has specifically targeted people over 65, and virtually everybody I know has had at least their first shot. My first Pfizer shot was two weeks ago, I go back again next week for the second. No side effects whatsoever so far. Today, accordi...

Re: Is this too much engine oil?
Are you sure you’re not screwing it all the way in and using all the threads and making it tight, or are you just sitting the stick on top of the threads and not screwing it in?
