Re: Honda SH Mode 125 Specs and Feedback
remember one of the easiest ways to see what the heck is going on underneath the engine is to use a bathroom mirror. The kind your significant other uses to brush her hair -the handheld kind… It makes working on the underside so much easier.

Re: My PCX never seems to need oiling
what gives you the idea that a bike needs to be “topped off? In the seven years that I’ve owned Honda and Yamaha, scooters, I’ve yet to top off any oil.

Re: Valve clearance on a 2021.
I realize that when you don’t check the valves, it’s a nagging pain, especially if you like to take care of your scooter, but after four scooters, two Yamaha‘s and two Hondas, I’ll never check the valves again. That is until I see a symptom that I’ve got misadjusted valves. Meaning hard starting or ...

Re: Won't start
Sounds like battery failure, take the battery to an auto parts store and have it load tested. You can charge a battery and get a reading that’s satisfactory, but as soon as you put a load on it, it collapses. It could be as simple as buying a new battery.

This reminds me of the synthetic versus nonsynthetic oil wars… I agree with the above, just use a fresh octane that is recommended in the manual and you’ll be fine, anything else is a waste of money.

The lithium batteries that are being sold today can use a regular charger. However, you can’t use a charger that has a de- sulfation mode, but other than that, a standard trickle charger will work.

Try to be more complete when you ask a question like this. What country are you in? What are you exactly trying to buy? OEM parts? Accessories? Then we can help you.
assuming you are looking for OEM parts for the scooter, partzilla.com in the United States works well

It goes without saying that the selections that Honda makes on rollers is a best case middle of the road scenario. And in general, it’s about the best choice. All you are doing when you put in new rollers or sliders is moving the power band up or down a few hundred RPM that affects either the low en...

Re: new member with a new 2022 PCX
There was some idiot on here a year ago that was claiming that his new PCX would do 85 miles an hour, I don’t know what he was smoking… Bottom line is the PCX , no matter what year, no matter how many valves, is a 65 mph bike. You can do mods to it , with roller /sliders /variators and get it into t...

My experience is anytime you get things goofy electronically on your bike, it’s the battery. Take it out get it battery tested and replace it if necessary, scooter batteries are cheap it’s not worth screwing around with.

Yeah, don’t put up with this crap, they did shotty work, take it back. Obviously, they didn’t take it out for a test ride before they gave it back to you. Raise hell.
YOU should not be the one that’s responsible to do a test ride.

Re: PCX suddenly won't start
If you’re buying the yuasa battery, which is OEM, yes, it’s about 110 bucks, but there are many on Amazon that are half that, just measure your battery: length, width, and height, and find one on Amazon that is about the same. Except for sizing, 12 V batteries are 12 V batteries. And from now on, if...

We will be patient, but we expect you to search… Since this is a PCX site, asking about a PCX is entirely too general to get any real responses. Do a search for a few days, read several thousand comments here and then get back with specific questions.

You can leave the cables connected to the battery, (keep ign off ) but I usually just disconnect the negative cable when I’m going to charge it with a charger… Remember, if the battery is flat, and has been flat for a considerable amount of time, -meaning more than 24 hours- , the battery is probabl...

Re: Stripped head on oil strainer bolt
Try heating it up with a torch for 5-10 secs and then grabbing it hard with a pair of vise grips….remember you are loosening counterclockwise.
If you need to drill it out, all of the debris should land in the basket, and then I would change the oil again. I think you’ll be fine.
