Re: ECU out on 1022 PCX125 with 8000 miles?
Guys I appreciate all your ideas, I have not gotten out there and got busy with it because it has been such a cold winter. The idea of the kill switch, I never use it so makes me wonder if that is good or bad. I personally, think it could be the kick stand switch because that is the only part that m...

Re: ECU out on 1022 PCX125 with 8000 miles?
Update: No, I have not solved it yet. We have had a very cold long winter and I have been just a little bit lazy, at 77 I deserve it. I am still thinking it is a switch too. Thinking about trying to disconnect the side stand switch and checking it. Wallace

Re: ECU out on 1022 PCX125 with 8000 miles?
To take this further, was riding my 2011 PPCx125 with 8000 miles on it, doing great, Stopped at Walmart, came back out and it would not turn over. Nothing, not a try, not a click, nothing. It seemed just like the times I forgot and left the side stand down and the little switch on it keeps the scoot...

Re: First Problem with my 2011 PCX125
All good responses. I always run a fuel additive in my gas, year round. I did just 10 minutes ago, get low on gas, so filled up again, and no problem this time. I also did run a big dose of Seafoam in the last tankfull just to make sure, now, whether that had anything to do with it doing good this t...

First Problem with my 2011 PCX125
I bought it new, have put 4500 miles on it trouble free, uses no oil, runs flawless. Best scooter I have ever owned, gets about 85-95mpg. Well, the last two times I stopped to get gas, start it back up and give it throtle, it dies. Crank it back up, give it throtle, it dies. this goes on for about h...

Great info. I too, have a 2011 PCX125 with 5200 miles on her. I also have a 2015 CTX700DCT with 4000 miles on her. Love having both. Re: How do I know if I need a new Belt?
My bike has always ran up to 58mph and stop. It actually seems to have more power now that it is broken in, and has not lost anything. GPS says I am doing 55mph when the speedo says 58. Anyone out there that has a PCX125 that runs faster that 58 in stock trim, have you put a GPS on it to check the s...

How do I know if I need a new Belt?
I have a 2011 PCX125 with 5000 miles on her. Love the scooter. I run her hard, meaning, I usually run about 45-55mph constantly, mine tops out at 58mph by the speedometer. I average 85mpg. My question, how do I know when it is time to change the belt? I have noticed that I get a sort of rattling noi...

Re: headlight upgrade
Katschamne. sounds like you are riding your scooter on low beam. When I first started riding I did the same thing until a riding friend came back to me and asked me if I had my headlight on. then told me to always run it on bright in the daytime. It does not bother motorist, but you can be seen much...

Keep this in mind on ANY optional coverage a dealer tries to sell. It is profitable for him to sell it, not you. If you want it, great, but keep in mind it is a profitmaker for him, not you. Wallacem in Ga

Re: Need Instructions to remove headlight assembly
Yes, I have already thought of that, and think I will have to completely remove the unit, and drill the holes, drilling upward, to keep the shavings from falling into the unit. I also want to install lights in the small area below the headlights, making a total of 4 lights to install. so you have al...

Re: Riding with full beam on all the time.
I ride with high beam on during the daytime. Years ago, I was riding with a buddy in front of me, and when we stopped he asked me if my headlight was on. I told him yes, he then asked me if it was on dim or bright, said during the daytime a motorcycle headlight is not very vizable on low beam, but v...
