Re: Dashboard doesn't work - 2019 pcx 125
Check fuse for the dash, or the communication/power cable. It should power up, and some of the data is transmitted through a bus communication from the ecu. However there are some stand-alone safety signals (E.g. ABS feedback is driven directly by the ABS ECU. I can't remember if these are pulled to...

Re: comparison of PCX/SH/Forza 125s
The Forza has the largest body with the longest wheelbase of the three - which implies largest weight and biggest luggage capacity. The PCX is the smallest, so that is predominantly a city scooter - but it has ample storage capacity (especially with a top box) and can be used even for the odd two-up...

I use a home made cable, and the cheapest ebay special elm327 clone Bluetooth dongle to connect the Torque app running on my phone to the bike.
Works like a charm.

Does the bike store any fault codes when rough idling or dies at speed? Reading those could be a useful help in diagnosing the issue.

Re: 70000km (40000 miles) CVT/engine service?
On Indonesian part costs, I'd change all drive related parts on an unknown service maintenance history. Drive and driven face, rollers, complete clutch, drive belt etc.
Practically everything in the variator housing. And I'd change gearbox oil also.

2021 models have the more efficient 4 valve head from the nss125 forza, that's why they are more powerful than previous 2 valve 125 models. Also the 153cc vs 149cc is a change to optimize model range. Manyarkets have a tax, insurance licence limit at 150cc, however in Italy the minimum requirement t...

Here's a more lengthy and good explanation on spring rate vs preload.

Unfortunately Tunerpro doesn't work with Honda motorcycles. I use a similar cable than the lonelec conversion cable (4lole DLC to OBD) and a cheap OBD2 Bluetooth dongle connected to Torque Pro app on my Android servivmce tablet or phone. Works like a charm. Ceveat: I haven't tested it on a for a 300...

Re: How do I adjust this Bitubo suspension?
I think you are talking about adjusting the spring preload. If so loosen it until the spring is loose, then tighten it up a turn. More preload will stiffens the spring up, giving you a higher spring rate, ei stiffer. Less preload will give a softer spring rate, to an extent, but it will also reduce...

Re: General Suspension Questions
The YSS shocks have quite a bit heavier spring rates and more substantial damping than the oem ones. With your weight they would be quite uncomfortable.if you have a riding buddy or a gopro, you should check what causes the uncomfortable hits on the rear suspension. It might be that it is due to hit...

Re: (PCX 125) 2013 rear tyre onto 2016?
Yes and yes. All early year pcx uses the same rear wheel, so you can swap those over. I use a normal bycicle pump (not the small handheld touring thing, but a normal bycicle shop pump) for all my motorcycles. Also. As long as one doesn't want to get the tires seated after a tire change, but top up/a...

Going strong. On my 3rd pcx now (sold both the 2013 and the monster 2015 one). This is now a 2019 model with ABS, as I'm an all year rider and winters get really cold and snowy here. Many of the previous upgrades doesn't transfer (e.g. big brakes, shocks, certain engine parts) but I still enjoy it. ...

Re: What is the little red capped plug next to the battery?
That is the DLC connector. One can diagnose ereor codes through it either with, or without a comouter. Also allows monitoring certain ooeration parameters with a simple obd connector mated to a Bluetooth dongle capable of K-line comms, and an app on a mobile phone. This is for example how I used to ...

I swear there are real geniuses, it's only 3 pounds of boost, not a freaking rocket and I'm not absolutely certain on anything yet but I do think it can produce a few extra hp. If I'm wrong I'll let you know because so far I haven't seen crap on this. I understand fuel mapping and I'll watch the O2...
