Re: Overheating and cutting out - from too much oil??
You can't top up coolant by that top reservoir. You will have to take radiator cover off and undo the coolant cap there. Top it up let it idle and keep squeezing all rubber hoses you can reach blipping the throttle time to time. That will let all the air trapped in the cooling system. Sent from my S...

Re: 2013 150 Engine Mods?
Remember, pistons don't come as 62mm precisely, they're actually 61.98 or less. I'd use a piston that comes with a specific cylinder, don't interchange parts, might cause damage with incorrect tolerance. I've used a Takegawa camshaft myself, performance wise I have no complaints and comments. But t...

Re: Need help on camshaft specs
The PCX runs in closed loop at low revs and below 80% load - and the closed loop is regulated by the O2 sensor. Even if the basic ECM program would be off, the feedback from the sensor should correct the rich running via feedback to the trim tables. I suggest to try to diagnose the O2 sensor. Would...

Re: Honda PCX (150) Linked Brakes
I've got 2012 pcx 125 and two pistons operating on front lever look the same haven't measured them if they same diameter but middle one that operates with CBS is significantly smaller. Yours might be different, but I've only seen calipers like the one on the picture, and on these the two identical ...

Re: New Member from the UK - Looking to Buy, A
Thanks all for the replies, very helpful. I looked at the N Max and I like that too but I think I prefer the look of the PCX plus the 12v socket is handy. What Helmets do people wear? Are there any decent looking ones out there that a priced reasonably? looked at some and they are like £200+ o_O ht...

Re: Honda PCX (150) Linked Brakes
G'day How can you get all pistons in front calliper to work together? I was thinking about that but piston that operates with rear brake has smaller diameter so it would pop out further than the two bigger ones wits same amount of brake fluid from brake pump. Have you got pictures of your set up? J...

Re: Honda PCX (150) Linked Brakes
G'day Homie & Oyabun. Thanks for the reply's. I live in Australia. I am not desperate yet to change the rear brake setup, just disappointed it is so weak. My real reason for the post is to hopefully save someone from an accident in a corner particularly if for some reason it is poor traction. I...

Re: Upgraded suspension YSS shocks and parts
I want to share my experience upgrading the suspension on my PCX150. I started with the rear shocks based on the collective wisdom on this forum and promptly ordered the YSS XXL shocks from Bikerbitz.com. It took little long to arrive(got hung up at San Francisco of all places) but was easily swapp...

Re: This should be fun! Going to get a new exhaust!
Has anyone used this LeoVince exhaust? Will it add better performance? I mean just the ride ability. Are there any dyno reports. For $211.00 this is a reasonable price for ride-ability and better performance. Plus I do like the sound! Get yuminashi kit for better performance. You'll notice the diff...

Re: pcx gears
The Yumi gearing id great, but can be too long for a stock or moderately modified engine. In case you're after a more reasonable gearing kit, the cheapest option is to use Factory Honda gears from Thailand and/or Indonesia. The PCX 150 variant built in Indonesia called Vario, and it has a quite lon...

Re: This should be fun! Going to get a new exhaust!
Honky you don't want that if its going to put you off again in fast, tight turn... surely there must be a second choice. I should be ok. I don't tend to corner too fast. We'll see. It has a 100% return on it if it's not right. I have bought exhaust from webike that was scraping tarmac on every righ...

Re: PCX water overheat issue ( red light icon )
So far i have install the SPL 164cc kit from yuminashi and the PGM-fi controller everything is fine until i have the camshaft installed and ignition increased ( a little) from the pgm-fi controller, if i run normal mode under 60km i'm fine for 30 minutes or 1hour, if i go over 60 it happens faster....
